Coffee is good! The best drink ever! Best friend ever!
But can cause trouble if taken in excess or at the wrong time.
Sometimes, a lot.
So read, bitch!! For your own good!
I took time to write this!
1. Digestive Problems

If you think that a coffee just in the morning is a good idea, then think again.
A coffee in the morning will cause increased production of hydrochloric acid. Also coffee is weakly acidic.
Acid should be produced only upon ingestion of food. The acid triggers and catalyzes the enzymes like pepsin and rennin to digest proteins. So if you body has produced a lot of HCl, then it might not have enough to property support digestion when eaten something heavy. An unpleasant day awaits this lady here.

So before having your morning coffee, it is advisable to eat something solid for breakfast.
2. Acidity

Many of the compounds in coffee like caffeine and the various acids found in coffee beans can irritate your stomach and the lining of your small intestine. It’s known to be a problem for those suffering from ulcers, gastritis, IBS and Crohn's disease. So drinking excess amounts of coffee is a bad idea. No milk coffee is especially bad.
But how much is too much? I'd say, more than two cups (30ml) of single shot espresso or equivalent.
3. Heartburn

Acid reflux and heartburn can be caused by coffee due to the way it relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter. The muscle should remain tightly closed once you eat, to prevent the contents of your stomach from coming back into the esophagus and burning its delicate lining with hydrochloric acid.
Caffeine is known to relax the esophageal sphincter but coffee has some more compounds which contribute to heartburn. So, coffee is particularly problematic for this. But it depends on how strong your coffee is and how much you take.
4. Sleeping Problems

Ask a doctor. Too much caffeine is proven to cause sleep disorders. Insomnia could be the least of your worries as you might randomly feel sleepy.
5. Boosting Nature's Call

Drinking coffee can stimulate peristalsis, the process in the digestive tract that makes us head for the bathroom. By stimulating peristalsis, coffee also promotes increased gastric emptying, whereby the stomach's contents are quickly passed into the small intestines, often before the food has been properly broken down. Also, it causes excessive urination and the effects can be seen rather quickly.
Sooooo,
If this is you in a lovely morning

Or like this in a busy afternoon,

Then it'd be best if you to reconsider your coffee plan.
