I do know how to skateboard, not tricks and stuff which I'm not into, but just sliding...The basics! lol.It's fun...But because my skater friends do snowboarding and surfboarding , I would LOVE to try them, out!!! But I'm still young to do it because they go far away to find a nice beach with waves or a mountain with snow and nice hills... :P and I'm not able to go with them yet... :/.About longboard I've tried that and I was scared like shit!! So not for me...LOL

Snowboard or longboard. Various people have told me I have the build for long boarding, but I think I'd rather snowboard. I've only ever gone skiing (I'm from Australia, there is no snow where I live lol) but I loved it and was surprisingly good. I'd love to spend a season in NZ or Japan learning to snowboard :)

Dude I only saw snow for the first time two years ago! lol and yeah my boyfriend does all 4 and he keeps encouraging me to try but I'm insanely uncoordinated :/

I've done all except long boarding (technically I have because that term is used to describe 8'+ surfboards) and I found surfing the most fun. The down side is surfing takes a lot of work paddling especially if you aren't surfing point breaks. Snowboarding is still fun but all you do is take a lift and the run is longer.

I live in Florida, so skateboarding was the best option. People surf here and longboard, but there aren't good waves or any hills. I've never surfed before, but i have skated, longboarded, and snowboarded in NY.

I picked skateboard, I was trying to learn by a couple of guy friends but I failed like REALLY bad. Landing on my butt and head sometimes, yeah I'd like to conquer it, by that I mean actually riding it for a while and not falling xD

You have to fall to learn how the board works. Just how it goes. Maybe borrow the board and just skate around when no people are around? That's how i learned myself

how loose were the trucks? you want to have them pretty loose so you can turn just by leaning. Just adjust them to your comfort and weight

They were fine I just couldn't grip the board enough with my feet. Maybe a little but going up onto sidewalks and stuff would make me fall.

I love the water and the ocean is so beautiful. And one of my things to do before I die is to surf in that tunnel of water wave.
Plus I live righty the ocean and barely know how to swim...need more practice.

I grew up snowboarding in Tahoe and I'm good. I surf a little but I'd like to get much better so I picked D.
