I am Having pain in my left side?

I have a pain in my left side.
To the left of my hip but the right of my belly button. (closer to my hip)
Hit hurts to touch it to anything and press on it. My back in that area sometimes hurts. Right now it hurts. if i try to touch my toes it hurts too much. Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Or a least what can help until I can see a doctor?

in short its a pain in lower abdominal quadrant. what's the characteristics of pain? intensity? frequency? what triggers it? there's a lot of factors to consider before knowing what's wrong before knowing what could help until you see a dr.

Could be kidney stones.. or a kidney infection, ovarian cyst.. Hard to tell, but try taking some ibuprofen and drinking plenty of water.

If you're ovulating it could be your body releasing an egg.
