I don't know exactly what a vegan is but I know enough to be sure I am not, nor ever will be one. Same goes for a vegetarian. I am a carnivore and I eat and love lots of meat. I also hunt birds to get some of my own meat. It is a lot healthier because it is leaner and it has no hormones or other chemicals injected into or fed to it from the time they were an egg through adulthood. Not only that, most wild birds with some exceptions are much tastier than chemical filled shelf birds. My favs are pheasant, dipped in an egg wash and breaded with flavored flour and fried in peanut oil with onions. Heaven. My other favorite after a long, cold, wet, exhausting morning of quail hunting is quail fixed the same way with a side of home made potato cakes for breakfast. Of course each one of my dogs get one quail each with the meat stripped off the bones for being such sweet, loving, genius bird dogs. They make me successful. I feel sorry for anyone who never has the opportunity to do any of these things. It makes you feel so alive and one with how things are supposed to be and understanding, participating in and loving nature. Human beings were never ment to live in huge cities with nothing but millions of people and concrete. I think it eventually will drive most people insane, some sooner than others. That's why most of the shootings are in large or very large cities, some people just mentally snap and that is it. I think that is also why people in large cities tend to be very rude. They just hate their fellow man because they are around too many of them.

I'm a lot like you, QA. I never drink milk and I don't eat meat very often, either.
So yeah, if I wanted to become full-blown vegetarian/vegan, it wouldn't be that difficult for me to do.
I have been a vegetarian for about 7 years. Mostly because I love animals. I thought it would be hard to do initially, but it really wasn't and I don't even think about eating meat now. The only thing I sometimes crave is salmon because my sister eats it in front of me all the time. I'll only eat free range eggs and cheese made without rennet, and I won't eat anything containing gelatine or buy leather shoes and bags etc., so it can be a little restrictive but it's easy to have a healthy balanced diet and get enough protein, iron etc. on a vegetarian diet. I think if you commit to it, and you have your reasons then it's an easy enough lifestyle change :) and think about all the animals that haven't died for you to eat.
P.S. anyone who is vegetarian...Quorn products (which are made to be like meat- there's 'chicken', 'mince', 'schnitzels' etc. but made out of a mushroom) are high protein and fortified with iron and are low in fat and contain virtually no saturated fat. They're a great meat alternative.
I went vegan for a little over a month, and nourished my body with Cola and Doritos. (I didn't bother with Oreos cause they're no good without milk) I had more energy and a faster metabolism by then end of it, but had to stop as i started shaking from all the sugar i was consuming.

I've had so many arguments with vegans (just to note I didn't start them they didn't like that I ate meat) I love animals and I don't necessarily like the way they kill them (I don't eat veal because of the way they're treated and it's not that great) I would never be able to stop eating meat though, it's literally all I eat. I would much rather eat deer meat or game meat vs. anything in the store though.
I'm a lacto-ovo veggie, which means I eat dairy products and eggs.
I've been so, since around the age of 11.
I'm 25. I'd never be a vegan.
I don't eat the right supplements, so I'm rather lacking in the nutrients I need already.
If I became vegan, I would die :/I was a vegetarian for years and it just wasn't for me. I enjoy meat... After that I only ate poultry and slowly started adding back beef. I'm not big on pork but I will eat it sometimes.
But I've never tried a vegan diet... I adore my dairy haha. More power to 'em!I used to be vegan. I did it for about a year and then I started eating meat again because I am trying to gain weight. Vegan diet is great for losing weight, but not for people trying to gain it. I still don't eat cheese or any dairy though and I don't eat any seafood either.
I'm almost a vegetarian too, I try not to eat red meat unless of course I've killed it.
Ultimately, I think it's important for people to listen to their bodies. I prefer salads and don't eat much dairy but once in awhile I just crave a big glass of milk with my breakfast.I couldn't be one. As much as I love animals and I don't even eat a huge amount of meat, I love a good cheeseburger and I love any kind of chicken and turkey.
I do live mostly vegan, but not really 100% so I wouldn't call myself that, but ya I can imagine that. Vegetarian quite easily, but vegan is a bit tougher for me, I love milk and cheese
I would try it. There is a lot of good tasting imitation foods on the market these days. Native Foods has an awesome menu, and 100% Vegan.
No. I'm a little underweight and I love chicken, turkey, and other things. So I can't become a veggie person.
I don't eat much meat and it's mostly fish. I do think about going vegetarian.
i might become vegetarian one day
i am now making sure every morning my breakfast consists of no meat
and twice every month i would be on vegetarian dietMe being vegetarian is feasible...I have one vegetarian day a week currently to give my digestive system a break.
Nope, never ever. I love my chicken, fish and mutton too much to leave it.
no, I'm too lazy for that and I need my protein for muscle building
Yes, I've considered going vegan.
Maybe when I continue my study, I'll try it.
I love animals so yeah, sometimes I feel sorry/guilty.
If I can, I would want to stop eating meat.I am a vegetarian and I have been since 9th grade, also had a six month stint in fourth grade.
I tried and I only lasted 2 weeks. I love meat too much.
The only way I would become a vegan is if I was going to die if I didn't.
Begin vegan isn't that hard actually but if you love meat thats different story
I think I could definitely go full vegetarian diet.
