If you're a guy who is obsessed with toned bodies, then don't bother to answer because I think I already know your answer.
Additional info in case the photo doesn't say much: 5'4", 198 lbs, I wear tops sizes 10-12 and bottoms sizes 12-14 (US size)
Ok I've rarely wanted to help someone so much in my entire life, but I just feel like I really get you because I've been you. All my life I was the heavy one in my family. I remember my mom hiding cookies from me so I wouldn't eat the whole box. I always felt kind of looked down upon or an embarrassment to my parents and family because of my weight. As I got into my teens, I went on a few fad diets that worked until I stopped and then I slowly but surely put the weight back on just like you've said. Mentally food was like an obsession for me and it was like how much could I get without facing weight gain consequences. The weight always ended up winning. I continued to gain into adulthood and at 20yrs old I was 225lbs and wearing a size 16/18 in pants. This was rock bottom. This was a major game changer for me because I realized that almost everyone my whole life tended to treat me like a "less than" because of my weight. I knew I was better than that. I knew I was prettier than that. I knew I could show them this. I set it in my mind that I would follow a strict diet until the weight was completely gone. This sense of resolve that came over me was so strong that it pushed me through 6 straight months of hardcore dieting. In six month I'd lost 80lbs and I was transformed. People treated me differently. I got compliments. Boys asked me out. It's like my time had finally come. I can message you for more information about how I did it exactly, but now I'm 95lbs thinner and I lead a very normal life and have kept this weight off for 5 years. I also have some health issues that also played into my weight battle...mainly my low thyroid.
The people talking today have been rude in their delivery of a harsh message. I'm sure you're discouraged, but you can change this and you can be the version of yourself you want to be. I'm living proof!
I'm from the UK so I had to do some clothes conversion checking to see where we're both at here! lol.
I think if you lost a little bit of weight, possibly a dress size, you would look a lot healthier and be able to fill clothes out with a bit more shape. The great thing about your body is in your in proportion, everything is in proportion with each other so if you lost a bit of weight you would have a great all round figure.
I don't want to rate you because I can't see your face and personally I think weight can be seen in a whole new light with a lovely looking face, which I'm sure you're hiding about that darned camera! ;)
I cut out my face intentionally. I don't want a rating based on my face. As I said, 1-10 on how fat I am, 1 being fat but still could be sexy, and 10 being morbidly obese and just looks horrible in general.
I think to find UK size you just need to add 2 to the US sizes. a 12 in US size makes a 14 in UK size.
Well I did kinda date a girl a while ago who had similar statistics to yours, the face determines most of your attractiveness. However, you really do have a +15 kg (~33 lbs) surplus. Of course, if it's a health condition, there isn't much you can do apart from regulating diet to include more vegetables and less carbohydrates, less fast food, and more physical activity. I recommend martial arts, like aikido.
So I think you still have chances, but you're at the highest bar of that limit, which is never good, also it does not seem too healthy overall. Just make sure you don't starve yourself after seeing this response, starvation does NOT make one thinner, it just decomposes their neural system while releasing ketons which are toxic to the rest of the neural system.
I know my stuff already, been researching and struggling with weight loss for my whole life. So no, i won't starve myself. Thank you
Lol what language is that? I know right? It'sso annoying how some french people just think they could get away without learnung anothe language. Yesterday this french lady ordered coffee but she couldn't speak a single word english. I mean how can you become a tourist without speaking english? I think people like that should stay in their own countries and visit websites in their own languages. It was really complicated with this lady (I'm a waitress). We end up talking in signs like cavepeople. Fucking annoying
English isn't even that hard. By the way, that was my native/primary language, Hungarian.
Depends on your native language. It could be hard for some people. Also depends on how language savvy you are. But it still isn't an excuse to be an ignorant little prick and spread your shit in a language that's not used on the website. I bet he'd be pissed too if I go on to a french website and start posting in Swahili or Chinese
I don't mind that he posts in French, but don't call others stupid for not speaking your language. That'd be like me calling people stupid for not speaking Hungarian. It's unreasonable to expect them to do so; it's actually a pretty damn complicated language.
It doesn't matter how easy or complicated a language is... You come to an English speaking website like this, you speak english! If you want to speak your own language, visit a site in your own language. Adapt, dpn't be ignorant and expect every other people to adapt to you. I do mind that he posted in french. People like him are the reason why I never want to learn french.
Haha, well I guess that's true, too. The hostility ticked me off more, though.
The most important thing in my answer was that even I hate working out, but martial arts (I did aikido for a few years) are kinda cool. Rather than forcing you to tense up your muscles, it contributes to general well-being, AND force you to do regular movement. It's good for health, albeit it's more effective if you actually have the time. I used to have 3 trainings a week, it was nice.
And of course, it actually requires you to NOT tense your muscles up pretty much at all. Being relaxed is key to proper tracking of the moves in aikido.
Any clues on what to change or do?
I think I will get back up on the weight watchers programm again and really stick to it. Smoking and work definitely helps curb my appetite for snacking. Tea and coffee also helps a lot. I could go for 9 hours without consuming anything but milk that I put in the coffee
Smoking is bad for you, you shouldn't rely on that. It's bad for your cardiovascular system, which is already at increased risk due to being a bit overweight.
yes, I know. I was very down and depressed one day and hated everything about myself, my weight, my skin, my hair, and I was so desperate to lose weight that I was willing to do anything.
I honestly recommend aikido, if you have a dojo for that in your vicinity somewhere. I used to do it for years. I stopped because I moved elsewhere, and I kinda miss it. Make sure you do your best not to tense up if you do, though - relaxed muscles are key to both aikido and to happiness :)
aren't martial arts more for guys? Besides, I don't want to be the only fat person in a "dojo". Most martial arts practitioners I know are fit.
They're fit because they've been doing it for years. Aikido is more about harmony of movement, the movement of oneself and with the partner - rather than about actual "punch each other in the face" thing. It somewhat differs between dojos and instructors, but where I was at it was a bit more about the handling of the force, movement choreography and "tracking" the movement and execution of the other person, rather than fighting and self-defence. Hence why it's the one I recommended. I personally liked it.
As for the male/female thing, eh. I've even known a certain person who was female, 5'3" and above 100 kg because of a health condition (the contraceptive pills messed up her thyroid). The ratio of girls and guys was about 9 girls and 25 guys, so while there were more guys, doesn't mean there weren't any girls. People who start out tend to be fairly bad, but everyone who ever starts something is usually pretty bad at it at first. People learn over time and it's beneficial longterm.
It does depend on dojo though. The one I was at was a 'Kobayashi' Aikido dojo - there are about 3 different types.
This video looks like a reasonable demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZOXmr7BPWQ
The truth is, you are very fat, but instead of asking how fat your are, why don't you ask how you can be less fat? Go on a diet, run a bit, if your ok with how you look than that's cool, but the reason I don't like fat people isn't because their day, its because their not doing anything to change it, I shed 25 pounds in 2 months easy, so just gone a diet, #sorryabouttherant
Agree 100%
you have no idea how much I've struggled with this. Not every fat person is not doing anything about their weight. If you read my comments on other answers, you'd know that I've tried everything. You have no right to judge anyone that harshly unless you know for sure that they're doing nothing about it. Believe me, us fat people already feel bad anough about ourselves without people like you judging us that harshly.
and I didn't ask about how I can be less fat, because I already know everything. I've been struggling with it my whole life. You shed 25 lbs in 2 months, that's too much to be healthy, besides, you're a guy, it's a lot easier for you. Your body is not wired to store fat to make childbirth easier. Your metabolism is faster, and you probably don't have any hormonal imbalance. Not everyone's body works just like yours. So stop being such a jerk.

You aren't horrible. If you want to change you should try the myfitness pal app and a little exercise. The app has helped me sooo much. I used to be 206 pounds. Down to 160 now and still going. Just gotta keep track of your calories and try to stay a little active. I just started doing zumba at home because i dont like working out in front of people and it is awesome but stays fun because its dance
oh I've tried everything, I'm using weight watchers now. Even Zumba. But they're all so expensive if done long-term, and I get bored really easily.
If you have an xbox or xbox one you could just buy the zumba game for it and do it at home for free. I understand the getting bored thing I am really bad for that when it comes to exercise. If you have a friend you can do it with it helps you stay motivated and can make it more fun. The fitness pal app is free at least
You could stand to lose weight, but you're not hard to look at. That's pretty harsh. Anyway, it really depends on the face. Nothing about the body matters if the face is ugly. If your face is pretty, then it doesn't matter what your body looks like. Most people I know only care about the face and not body, and the majority of them are men. Most men I know will take a pretty face and overweight body over a skinny body and a hideous face. No one likes people with ugly faces... lol.
I'm not pretty, but guys have called me cute. I think my face would range from a 5-6.5, depending on what you like.
Not too bad, still attractive, but I don't think, that it's very healthy. You should work on it for your heart, stomach and liver - and so your joints, especially the knees.
Don't make the same mistake I made. I started too late, now I have already problems with one knee :/
Honestly 8/10 and it would be very good if you started to do something about it now before you get any bigger. You will regret it later when you get stretch marks etc. also it's really not healthy. Just a little change in your diet can do a lot :)
Yes I've been trying to do something about it my whole life but it's just twice as hard because of my hormonal imbalance. I'm still not giving up. But it's that bad, huh?
Have you tried talking to someone who can help you? Like make a meal plan or something. I was a couple of pounds heavier too a few years ago, I solved it by just removing stuff I knew was really unhealthy. Now I basically only eat healthy food and portion size. If you have hormonal imbalance try talking to your doctor maybe he has some tips. Yes it's quite bad, but since you are asking this question you might be aware of it too. That is one step toward a change. I started changing when I noticed that I had gained weight.
I've tried following meal plans but I'm not a stickler to schedule or anything like that anyway. It would make mealtime feel like work and there are greater chance I would rebell and just eat something reall unhealthy because I'm sick of it. I am taking pills from my doctor to tak care of my hormonal problem, but these things take time... I think my problem is in eating processed food an distractions while eating
Those are the 2 I haven't been able to tackle. I hate going through the trouble of cooking for one and always get bored if I eat without sittin in front of the computer.
Ahh that is a problem, I love cooking so for me it'll wasn't a problem. However, when ever I knew I had a busy week I would cook big portions and then I would keep it in my freezer. It helped and also having small portion sized bowls is really good. You can still eat in front of your computer as long as it's healthy.
I could open a hole in your back, scoop your guts out, and where you like the Mickey costumes at Disney World..
Don't scoop out my guts, scoop out my fat
I think we have now crossed the line into becoming gross
I have always been bigger. Ever since I was a child. My parents used to be slim when they were young but after getting married they both balooned up. I was raised with their eating habits
I didn't know there was a fat scale. XD But I know people that are more overweight than you are.
If you're comfortable with how you look, that's okay. If you're not, try to lose the weight if you can. That's all I can say, really. XP
I just created it :)
I'm not comfortable, so I'm trying to lose weight anyway. It's just been such a struggle my whole life and I'm getting tired of it. And like you said, there are fatter people than me, so tht's why I asked this on gag
Well if one is fat but still sexy, I'd say 3-4. But it shouldn't matter, personality is important and if you're confident in yourself and feel sexy, others will view the same way.
I'm afraid that's not how people see it. People mostly just see the "fat" and would avoid me like the plague. But thanks for being kind
I would say 7-8 but yea there are a lot of bigger girls out there. Personally I don't think it is an issue, but if you'd like to lose weight it is really easy for your weight. It's 70% of eating habits and 30% of workout. It's not even junk food, but some of the normal things we eat everyday contains a large amount of energy. If you are impatient to learn, always stick to veggies :)
oh I know my stuff... I just hate plain-tasting foods and am addicted to chocolate. I'm trying to eat only 1 sweets per day and cut my carb intake on dinner to a half, replacing it with veggies. I hate working out, I'd rather eat less than work out lol
Yea it really depends, not all healthy low calories foods are plain-tasting ;P I would have died haha. And I didn't like working out initially, it seemed very dull to me, but after you start, your body will begin to like how it feels, you'll also have results to encourage you. It's not all about appearance either, but being fit is much healthier for you body :)
I always end up putting a lot of sauce or oil on food cooked in a "healthy" way. So I don't think cooking it in a healthy way actually helps lol I was a gym member for about a year, but everytime I plan on wo0rking out, it always feel like a job, and I just fucking hate it. There are no visible results as well, at least not one that's worth all the trouble of paying the money, driving time, and all that sweat. So much work, and no joy at all. No compensation. Unlike swimming, which I love. But if I swim regularly, I will develop man shoulders.
If you don't mind me keep commenting workout information, here I am ;P
Even though during the workout it might feel horrible, but at least I usually feel great after the sweat. I have no doubt that you can see results, my friend who is about 170lb lost about 5lb by planning her meal and workout. She absolutely hates veggies because of the texture, but if you consume your meals right it is easy to lose weight. Also, try drinking a plenty of water before eating, have small meals, keep yourself occupied with other things to do, and general stuff like that. She goes to gym every other day. If you try this for at least 10 days, I'm confident that you'll see result. It also depends on what you do at the gym, simply put aerobic exercise is for losing fat and weights are for adding muscle. Fat starts to burn at a good rate after 30 min of aerobic exercise.
I don't mind:)
For me, i mostly just feel tired after a workout. None of that adrenaline rush thing everyone talks about. But I also have low metabolism due to my hormones, and I'm taking pills from the doctor for it, so that might've been the thing that makes losing weight so hard for me compared to other people. But these thongs take time
9/10
You look like someone who should lose weight to improve her health.
I hope you respect my honest opinion
10 because what do you eat to be so fat? ((Unless you are ill)), i dont understand how someone can eat so much to grow out of proportion.
Hormonal imbalance, addiction to chocolate, fat family and wrong attitude towards food in my whole family. Also lack of activity, I was never raised to like physical activity.
Well you can always change that life style. Maybe at first it will be hard, but if you go through with it, at the end you`ll be a much healthier happier person. But you must be determined to do it, you dont want to end up with type 2diabetes at an early age, or some other life threatening disease just because you prefered not to control your eating habits.
Easier said than done. I hae no support system, all my friends are eaters and I can't get them to commit to sports to get me more motivated. I'm just so tired of having to motivate myself, it really takes tons of energy and willpower to fight against your own bodies' imbalances. Skinny people qill never understand this. It's not just what you eat, there are tons of skinny people who eat junk all the time but since their metabolosm is quick they can never get fat. So it's really not that simple. Don't be too judgemental.
i am not going to insult you by using the number rating... but it is way too much, though not to late to lose enough weight in a bearable amount of time. don´t let the ratings get you down. use them as motivation to lose weight. you can do it!
I know. The ratings won't bring me down. I'm used to hearing worse things.
so are you willing and trying to lose weight ore are you looking for acceptance as an excuse to stay like you are? if you are willing and trying, keep in mind: the fatter you are the faster you can see the results of your work.
Well maybe not used to, those comments from strangers on the streets still hurt, but I've heard worse than the ratings.
people just donĀ“t know how hurtful words can be.
I've ben trying to lose weight since I was 13. I've struggled with this my whole life, I've ever been comfortable in my own skin. So definitey not seeking acceptance here. Whatever people say, I know I have to lose weight, just to be able to finally feel confident and not hear mean things all the time. But it would still be nice to hear that I'm not that bad, you know? But apparently I am. So I think I should just forget about dating until I get smaller because aparently I'm that repulsive.
i canĀ“t imagine having problems with losing weight. i allways think if you donĀ“t lose it, you donĀ“t try hard enough. but this are all really superficial things. you shouldnĀ“t try to date a model guy though. guys are looking for girls, who are matching their own body immage. itĀ“s pretty much guaranteed that there is a guy for you out there. the problems you seem to have with dating are not abnormal. just donĀ“t give up and donĀ“t stop believing that you will find a good guy for you.
Every lbs I've managed to lose through hard work always comes back really quickly. I jist found out a month ago that my hormones are squeaked and unbalanced. And yes, words hurt, especially if they come from skinny people who have never had to struggle half as much as I did and still do.
i am not skinny but i am not fat either, i have to work quite hard to not get out of shape though. it took me 2 years (at least every other day at the gym) to become well trained from allmost being chubby. itĀ“s the combination of eating healthy and working out a lot that will lead to success but i guess i am just the 100th guy to tell you this...
I don't really mind if a girl is toned but I don't want her to be a whale either.. and you are almost pushing a solid 10 on the fat scale
You could get yourself fit In. 3 months with that body if you banned yourself from junk food and joined the gym:)
I'd you really wanted to that is:p
If*****
8.5 honestly, my suggestion is dieting... If you stop eating unhealthy foods it will be much easier then working out. For example when I was 12 and 13 I went to a sleep away camp that had no junk food or soda whatsoever. Even though I was in decent shape maybe 5'5" 135, after 7 weeks my first year I was 17 pounds lighter 5'6" 118. You have to make the effort because it will get worse.
your overweight and you obviously know that already. It isn't really important how many people would f*ck you at your size. It's about your own confidence.
My ex-girlfriends, were 5'2" + and weighed 200-215 so i like bigger girls 8/10 for sure
But 10 is the worst (read question details)
I am sorry i didn't read it right , Yes you would be a 1/3
My exes names were Crystal and Kimberly both overweight
yes nothing wrong with you, It's my fault for reading wrong
That's a heavy weight for your height.
Should be around 110-135 lbs.
9/10 for me.
You need to lose weight. And I would suggest you get to it before it gets absolutely out of hand.
I disagree with everyone saying you're a ten. I'd say around a six, because a ten would be morbidly obese to the point where walking was a problem.. I'd say a five, in my opinion. But don't worry about it.. be at a weight you're comfortable with.
what you are with your height and weight I say to you nice and sexy and if I was not married I see if you go out with me
