I'd like to start now however, is there anything I could do at home? I can buy some equipments if needed. I don't know anything about proper terms etc... I'd like to tighten up my middle section and arms especially.

Instead of sending you to another link or saying stuff broadly, I'll give you a plan that just might help you lose fat and get fit rapidly. How fast all depends on your discipline to follow it. Adjust it to however you want to to fit your needs but I recommend to follow it as closely as you can.
Exercise: Walk everyday in the morning when you wake up. 30 mins to an hour. If you can, twice in a day!
It's not required that you run, but do so it you want. Go outside and do some cardio! or on a treadmill if you have one lol
Strength train! Use body weight exercises, since as you stated, you can't go to the gym right now. It'll also save you money from buying equipment that you won't be using in 3 months since you'll be at the gym lol
*Here's a plan:
20 body weight squats
10 push ups
20 walking lunges
10 dumbbell rows (using a gallon milk jug)
15 second plank
30 Jumping Jacks
Add as many reps as you want if it's too easy
**Diet: I hate using that word because people always think its torture and never follow it :/
Anyways, the only things you need to do are simple: Just drink water.
No soda, no lemonade, no Monsters, no Gatorade, ect.
NOT vitamin water, just plain old water. I can't stress that enough!
Drink as much of it as you want, you're made up of basically about 90% of it lol
Don't eat sugar (cookies, brownies, ect). Basically w
hat people would generally consider "Fat People Foods"
Sugar is also in fruits, so yeah, eat fruits but limit how much you eat of them.
Use common sense! Eat as many vegetables as you want! (whoop, whoop :D)
Eat some meat that's not too fatty (fish, chicken, ect), unless you're vegan.
In that case you know what to eat, since you would already be watching your food consumption lol

Training is nice, of course, but diet can help you just as much. Simply avoid eating carbohydrates during evening (after supper, until you go to bed) and you'll get amazing results in just a few days.
You can't spot train first of all; unless you are building. Its about overall weight loss. You are start off with walking to jog/walk to jog to jog/sprint.
You can do body movement like squats, lunges, and pushups
I don't really need to lose weight that much, I'm just really untoned/unfit... I think jogging is something I could already do, though

Do calisthenic workouts at home. Try squats, lunges, jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, mountain climbers, etc.
