What are the side effects of quitting?

What are the side effects of quitting birth control? In about a week I am quitting birth control, so I was wondering if you guys experienced any side effects of quitting? Good or bad.

I take the pill, I've never stopped but the leaflets usually say your periods may take several weeks or months to return... also when they return they can be very irregular. Because of all the hormonal changes you may also feel very different, like rapid mood-swings etc. :)
