I'm going to do some meditation right now, who's with me?

So here are some important steps:

1 - breath steadily and slowly;
2 - pull your mind back to the center of focus every time a thought pops up;
3 - lay completely still;
4 - point your eyes to a focus point and keep them there to prevent invasion of thoughts;
5 - introspect, feel the limbs and all parts and keep doing it until you cannot feel them anymore.

Keep these steps constant. The advantage is that your heartbeat can drop to a few per minute, you also loosen the signals from your emotions, your brain almost completely shuts down.

What are your thoughts, has anyone tried meditating? What are your experiences?
