Is it strange that I like to go for walks late at night?

I almost always have a daily walk somewhere between 10pm-1am everyday. I like going at night because it's colder and there's not many people out. Is this strange?

I always have my dog with me as well.

I use to do that but my mom begged me not to because she was scared. Plus, there had been a lot of female kidnappings around the time. It isn't strange but it probably isn't best by yourself. Just be safe and cautious. Check out your surroundings. Get mace or a stun gun if you can. Make sure you have a fully charged phone. Ya never know what can happen... Overall, be careful!

I used to jog at around 9-10, but my mom didn't like it so I started going earlier. Especially since I live on my own now, she worries. When I visit home I'll take walks with my dad at night though. He enjoys late night walks too.

Oh my mom is ok with it as long as my dog's with me. If I had someone to go with I would but everyone's usually asleep.

10pm-1am is early for me. I usually go more like 1am - 4am.

Nothing strange about it. It's peaceful at night like that. Plus I'm such a night owl that 3am doesn't even seem late to me. The only thing I worry about is another nocturnal creature around here - skunks - I don't wanna get sprayed by accidentally surprising them.

I usually fall asleep somewhere between 2-4 am. And I really like walking at night.

Not at all I walk at night all the time for miles sometimes. It's relaxing I always take a cigar or my tobacco pipe just becuase I love smoking them. A knife for protection and my phone for music and to write stuff down I have created some beautiful poetry whir taking my walks.

Oh I'm in a nice small city in new Mexico. If the forest were a few miles closer I would go there but That's a good 8-12 miles away.

Yes and no. I'm a night owl myself, but going out so late may be dangerous. You never know who is watching and seeing that you have a habit of going for walks late at night decide to do something.

I don't have one and I walk to get away from everything for a while. And I find it relaxing to be outside at night. More or less my night and day are backwards.

I love going on night walks as well, especially on a new moon or a full moon. With my dog as well, where I live its brutally hot in the day. So night walks are a must! Plus most people dont do that, its fun and dangerous.

I don't think it's strange. I would never do it, though. Too many creeps lurking around this city at night. Maybe if I was with my SO, but even then it's still risky.

I would go with somebody but I have one sibling who no longer lives with me and a few friends but one live slightly out of town and the other has to sleep more than I do.

Yep it's nice and quite at night unlike the day and I have to watch everything around me because of wild animals that are coming to the city I live in.

Yeah I always have to watch out for bears.. even in my yard, we have wild bears that will come around here and there.. pretty scary lmao

If I was your friend, I would go with you. I think that is a great idea. Going out for walks is so healthy for you. I find it to be a stress reliever.

I have a very old car. 22 years old... got it for a steal at $1500. My dad paid half while I paid the other half. $80 to fill her up but.. I don't really fill her up because I'm not working right now. I only put in a little bit at a time

No, I do that sometimes. Today, I did that too because the sky is clear, and so, the stars can be seen very well. They are so fascinating. Just looking at them makes me feel like I am in totally different world. Also, there are cool breezes at night and the surroundings are so quiet. Just be sure you are in a safe area. ^-^
