+1 yWhile I've seen hurling, I don't know it well enough to compare to the others.
I believe American football is the worst, and its BECAUSE of the equipment. Rugby and aussie rules players are not taught to crash into people with their heads trying to pop the ball. They're well protected against minor injuries, but then hurl themselves at each other in ways that their spines can't handle.12 Reply- +1 y
ya i was thinking the same but rugby is still dangerous to the tv program
- +1 y
There are plenty of injuries big/small in rugby, this one a couple of months ago paralised someone unfortunately https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W-BmKXU12yE

Out of those ones it would be rugby or nfl, probably rugby because you don't have any pads to protect yourself and you constantly have to tackle much bigger players for a longer time period. In the nfl there's only about 11 minutes of free flowing action with rugby there's about 45 minutes. And even if you aren't taught to b tackle head first there are still plenty of injuries.

+1 yHurling man, you whip wooden sticks with metal bands in the air try to hit a ball that can tear human flesh open. Did I mention you have no protection when playing? It is sooo hurling.

speed of hurling the pitch is bigger than most sports the speed of the ball can go up to 100 mph but the reason i think hurling is more dangerous is less Armour

+1 yI'd agree and say rugby. I'm from SA where its played every weekend and yeah I know guys who's broken legs, arms, spines and such. There dont wear armor like the American football guys. Once a guy had a broken leg but because they had no replacement for him he had to finish the game with his broken leg.
21 Reply- +1 y
ya but i have seen few guys getting knocked out in rugby i remember in one of our hurling matches when i was 12 or 13 one guy broke is spine from one of us
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yProfessional Wrestling is the most dangerous sport in the world.
Not because they die, but the risks they take. I know some will say MMA is real so it's more dangerous, but MMA fighters do not put themselves into fire, chairs, tables, do not fall from cells, do not fall from 50 feet... It's really dangerous00 Reply
+1 yWell I don't if its a sport auto racing but out of the ones you have hockey cause some dies and was brought back to life playing hockey.
18 Reply- +1 y
A NHL player died on the ice actually wow and in racing dale earnhart died from a crash. Kevin ward died cause he left his car so. I could be wrong but I dont remember an NFL player passing on the field.
- +1 y
we are talking about field sports so no racing parkour cheerleading or bull riding
- +1 y
Ah well hockey or soccer then. All that cardio can lead to fatigue and heart attacks.
- +1 y
i dont think soccer is dangerous when your talking about cardio hurlers and backs in rugby are very fit like wingers are nearly as fast as runners and hurling is 70 mins of non stop running
- +1 y

American football to me seems similar to rugby, you just have a lot of protection and in rugby you don't... so... rugby.20 Reply

Other than that, Aussie football is fairly crazy, and hockey is pretty nuts, just due to the variety of ways to be injured or killed.02 Reply- +1 y

Opinion Owner+1 ySerious question: if gladiatorial combat was a "thing" and was allowable in this day and age, would you go to see one?
- +1 y
i might go depends where its on and are the guys good or bad fighters
Opinion Owner+1 yDoesn't matter... there will be motherfucking gladiators with motherfucking swords in a motherfucking arena trying to motherfucking kill the shit out of each other.
Would you go?- +1 y
If there were still gladiators, I would be a season ticket holder.
Opinion Owner+1 yLmfao, you win the comments section
- +1 y

I don't really think any of them are any more dangerous than the others.
01 Reply- +1 y
i saw a tv program showing why rugby was more dangerous than football cause there's barely any armour even tho football has worser tackles
+1 yAussie Ruless. Pretty much boxing mixed with rugby. Legalized assault lol!
23 Reply- +1 y
Yeah alright, you're thinking of soccer.
+1 yI would have to go with American football, those boys are rough, and there is a reason why they wear all that protective equipment.
02 Reply- +1 y
Nice to know. I don't know much about rugby, sounds tough.
LOL at the people that said American football they've obviously never watched rugby or aussie rules
