You need to make long-term changes,. not temporary ones. Your body adapts to whatever you're doing now. You eat shit, you gain weight. You eat less shit, you lose it. You start eating shit again, you gain it.
Forget fad diets because they usually deprive you of something you need which forces you into the above situation or else you'll end up malnourished. Just eat a more balanced diet, plenty of veg (fruit is ok but veg is better as it isn't full of sugar), pkebty of protein, and just enough carbs to get you through the day. The Western diet is way too carb heavy, that's why so many are overweight these days, but like I said you shouldn't deprive yourself of it completely. Also you need fats or else it will actually be harder to lose weight, about 20% of your diet should be fats, 35% carbs, 45% protein. Get healthy fats from meat, fish, nuts.
You need more exercise. Choose something you can stick with even once you're at your goal weight, something you enjoy. To hekp you lose the weight though nothing beats doing short sessions of high intensity cardio e. g. sprints ibstead of jogging, and lifting heavy weights - you won't build big manly muscles, don't worry, as a woman you don't have enough testosterone, you'd need to take steroids to get big, instead it will build a little muscle but it will give you more of a curvy shape which is what you want.

Well I can tell you from firsthand experience that dieting will not solve your problem. You need a lifestyle change. Dieting doesn't work because as soon as you are off the diet, you go back to eating whatever it was that made you fat in the first place. You need to decide "I am too young to be fat and I'm going to dedicate myself to eating healthy and being active". If you do that you will win this battle. You have to be active and exercise. But the most important thing is diet. Eat healthy foods and stay away from fast food and pizza. You won't change overnight, but over time, you will start to lose weight and feel better and have more energy. I am 6'4" and weighed 305lbs. I changed my diet and started playing sports all the time again and I have lost over 65lbs and now weigh 240lbs. I still have a little ways to go, but I have dedicated myself to living this way now for good. I feel better than I ever have. You can do it too, you just have to want it. At your age this should be easy!!!
Sport, Sport, Sport!!!
Do not diet, eat healthy, lean and allow yourself some treats. Don't fry things, but rather boil or steam them, eat vegetables! Eat salads, but be careful on the sauce.
I think a sudden diet change is hard to maintain, for me it worked, when I took every day for its own to make conscious choices. At lunch, salad or pasta. Do I really need a dessert, etc..
Don't do any stupid <1300 calorie diets. They will slow down your metabolism and after you start eating normal, your body will store the fat extra, so that is why you have the jojo effect.
If you start building muscles through excercise, they will start burning more calories than fat, aka, you can allow your self to have a little more calories. Which you need, otherwise, if starving, your body willl chew on the muscles.
So I would recommend a mixture of endurance (running, biking) and weight lifting sport. Start slowly and short on the run, but do it 3 times a week at least, otherwise you will give up soon.
Don't expect sudden changes, the weight did not come over night, it will not go away over night. I think they say max. 1 kilo per week is ok.
Good luck.

Use "myfitnesspal" to guide you on how much calories you need to eat. You need to eat at a deficit in order to lose weight. 3500 calories is one pound, so eating 500 less calories than your bmr a day will let you lose 1 pound a week. People's biggest problem with weight loss in my opinion is they expect it to fall off fast. Be patient. Anymore questions don't be afraid to ask.
