Help with weight control?

I've put on a bit of weight since starting birth control a few months back and I'm getting sick of having such a big tummy, so I've started exercising and eating better to improve. i went from 14 stone to 13.3 this month, i should mention I'm 5'6.

i might be getting anti depressants soon which i know can also pack on weight (also might make me feel worse and i eat to feel better) and i wanted to ask you all for tips or what to use as motivation to keep trying and losing weight more efficiently.
