I woke up this morning with a bad cold... and it inspired this question. Just want to take a sample of as many GAG'ers as possible and know which % of them had a cold the day they answered this question.

Haha, that's what I thought when I saw that so far 35% has a cold.
But it's just for fun. It's like asking "do you ever drink a lot?". People who do it will often say know because of social pressure.

Hmmm it's not quite like that, this question can get accurate results simply by not letting them know the question until they click it (like if you write the question at the bottom of the description after a load of text. Only problem with this is you won't get many answers, as people tend not to click a question they don't know what is
