I only eat when I'm hungry other than that I don't consider eating because as you said Food is just to stop hunger, I'm on a diet and would like to remain skinny but I think that some people eat more food when their going through depression or their really upset, others eat less when their in depression or their upset or any other reason I guess it depends x
or people who are addicted to food LOL

eeeeh, i guess i eat only when im hungry, though thats only have true since often times ill eat once a day, (mornings usually since i started work) then i just sleep through the hunger, used to not be able to sleep when im hungry, but just a habit i picked up, even if im suuuuper hungry, i can typically sleep through it and deal with it later haha
I have almost like a schedule. I don't have a job so I don't have to get up early. I eat at around 8:30 or 9am. Snack at around 11:30 or 12pm. Lunch at around 2 or 2:30pm. Dinner at around 6 or 6:30.
And the times I listed are usually the times when I actually do get hungry.
lol how many hrs do you sleep? just curious because i don't work too, as well. i sleep 5.5 hrs
Oh I have trouble sleeping probably because of medication. Maybe around 6 hours on average.

I eat whenever i want so i don't feel hungry. Food can be a beautiful thing, taste is an important sense that not many people make proper use of. It may not be necessary (eating for enjoyment rather than just nutrition) but it can add another color to your day.
and gain pounds. especially for someone who wants to remain skinny isn't another color to his day
I'm skinny, yet i eat like a super saiyan.
The trick is that i eat yummy tasting, but healthy foods. It took time, cause it's a lot of trial and error to figure out what fruits/vegetables/nuts etc you actually love the taste of. And which recipes are your favorites to cook.
Just wanted to add, I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I LOVE steak!
And try foods outside your comfort zone, try weird sounding vegetables or dishes from different countries/cultures. I also exercise regularly, i lift and stuff. But honestly for a guy, the skinny thing is more about the exercise than the eating.

Oh I'm basing that comment purely on my little bro, who's lost a lot of weight this year since leaving high school. He says that for him it was all about exercise. More so than food. His friend and him go for runs like twice a week and also do weights and stuff. But he always says that that's what's really helped him shed kilos. Also girls just in general retain their fat, more so than guys do. So not only do they need to exercise but be fairly strict on not eating bad foods and portions and all of that. Whereas guys don't need to be as strict as long as they're burning the extra energy consumed.

But no matter what, it's about enjoying life and enjoying your food. Good foods/meals that make you feel energized and happy. You have to eat for the rest of your life, so go out, explore and find ways to enjoy food. Cause food is awesome.

food is awesome... bullshit! i definetely disagree with that... food has ONLY one purpose. to stop your hunger. it's not for the taste. taste is a big trap you know... that's what makes you gain weight, and i was like that in the past unfortunately. now that i don't give a shit about taste, i know where to stop, and that's why i remain skinny
Like i said, if that's what works for you that's great. Especially if you've learnt how to modify your outlook on food to become healthier. But that particular method doesn't work for me, i have to enjoy my food, enjoy the taste otherwise i'd just not eat anything and then binge. Mentally I'm not as strong in terms of hunger, but i like to think I've worked out a way where I'm happy as well as healthy.
I eat when I'm hungry, when I'm bored, when I'm emotional, when my blood sugar's low, and when I'm on my period. I like food. Thankfully I don't eat very much at a time, which may be why I maintain a healthy weight.

I'd probably remain skinny regardless XD. It depends. Sometimes I eat just to eat and sometimes I'm actually hungry. So I guess whenever I want.

Only when I am hungry now. I do have my days where I will grab a pack of chocolate to munch on but I barely ever have them now.

When the option to eat is available and I'm not full, chances are... I'm probably eating something. Not necessarily a meal, but something to snack on. Most of the time when I eat I'm not hungry.

it's not that easy.. I've lost 12kg in some months and now it's way more difficult than before. I need even more workouts and less food. :)

if you eat lesss you'll lose... but problem is that most people like food and they can't do it. i consinder that a weakness, because food is nothing more than sth that you eat just to not feel hungry... not for its taste :D
I can't help it when it's pizza or chips. I'll just eat with no thinking (1-2 times a month). Except for that I eat twice a day low fat milk with cerial and a lunch.
