You're probably over thinking it. It's normal to shed hair. We shed about 50-100 strands of hair a day, so don't be so alarmed when you notice a couple strands falling out. If you're shedding a lot of hair then it might be time to see a doctor. You could have some sort of deficiency that's causing excess hair loss. Are you eating all your fruits and vegetables? Are you an overall healthy person?
You may notice it more because your hair is already thin to begin with. I suggest being very gentle when you brush your hair. Purchase castor oil and rub a small amount into your scalp. Castor oil is supposed to promote hair growth and keep hair strong. I own some and it's amazing! Again, if you think you're losing too much hair then you should get that checked out; your body might be trying to tell you something. Good luck!

baking soda and vinegar? I know nothing about the chemistry behind the effect of such chemicals on hair but that sounds like a horrible thing for hair in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if that caused baldness.
It could be a skin thing, you're right. You should go to a dermatologist before you self medicate though.
