Apparently, you can hear me grind my teeth too -__-
I used to put in this plastic thingymajigger before I went to bed but I stopped because of the discomfort.
Gag, be my dentist (s). Or orthodontist or whatever.
I've heard of this before. My mom said to me that if you make a sound while grinding your teeth, then that means you want your mother to be dead. Obviously I didn't believe her, but I just tried to stop my teeth from grinding by biting my tongue a little while sleeping. And apparently it worked, my mom never complained about it anymore. Why don't you try doing it?
Ahaha! I don't really believe in those things, but I try to avoid them for some reason.
Not me, but I have a buddy who does. He sleeps at my house a lot, and it wakes me up sometimes because its such a freaky annoying sound. It sounds super unhealthy for his teeth first, although his gums dont hurt ever. You need to keep that thing or something more comfortable in your mouth, PLEASE
Use a mouth guard... I used to do this too before & my teeth were really healthy too. My dentist before told me its cuzz I'm overly stressed and I was at that time. So I had to use multiple mouth guards... Make sure u get the non breakable ones cuzz I would break a few haha apparently I was TOO overly stressed if I broke 4 mouth guards in my sleep -.-
Yeahhh it looks like I'm gonna have to go back to it.. just annoying because now I have to add one more thing to my already tedious wake and sleep schedule. Brush, contacts, wash face, take dogs in and out, feed em, check cats (practically take care of themselves), and. Just. Blah.
I never broke a mouth guard, you should probably get that checked out lol...
Lol well depending on where u r here in Canada its pretty expensive and hard to find unbreakable mouth guards and living cheap of course I would find the useless ones and I'm over that I don't grind my teeth anymore... My councler told me to meditate before I goto sleep... She says if ur thinking about whatever ur stressed on before u goto sleep makes it worse... Try listening to meditation music on YouTube it really works! And that sounds like a tough schedule me all I do is stay home with my son do nothing all day cuzz I'm a single mom & home alone haha and have no life all I do is game lol
My boyfriend does that. I can hear him grinding his teeth a lot. I read that calcium deficiency can trigger it. Another cause is that if you have some hidden anxiety or stress that's bothering you... Worries me, about my boyfriend.
It's called "bruxism", by the way.
Take care...
I am sorry. I think I am too late to reply you. Thank you, for choosing my opinion as the MHO. :)
I hope all goes well for you. Take care... :)

Yeah I used to do that when I was highly stressed, and yeah it was painful lol. It stopped after I was prescribed some Zaleplon because I stopped being able to sleep. Once I was off those I wasn't stressed anymore anyway so the grinding stopped. It's taking it too far to zonk yourself out but for me there was a direct link between stress and grinding.
I hear it's a way the body works through stress. Everything could seem healthy but you are probably wearing down your teeth and they'll be gone faster than normal.
Find a way to deal with the stress.
I used to shen I was like 5 but I don't anymore lol but my brother does it and his friend who unfortunately is stating with us a little while I swear its uncomfortable lol but he grinds his teeth extremely loud and snores like nobody's buisness
I don't really grind my teeth (though I use to with my old invisaline years ago), but I do often clench my teeth and sometimes wake up with sore teeth and gums =/
I do it sometimes. Its called bruxism. I'm a Capricorn and its supposed to be common with my zodiac sign. Are you a Capricorn too?
nah i dont think so... after all even if i did, i'd never know since i'd be asleep LOL
I used to do that, I might still do that. I have no idea how to stop it. Voted A).
I do it bit I wear a mouthguard thing every night and I still do because I got teeth marks in that lol. No Idea how to stop it.
my brother said he did that when he was on anti depressants.
