Why some doctors are just stupid or rude? With all my respect to most doctors?

A few doctors I have seen are just there to collect money, prescribe more and more inefficient drugs, and also don't have time for the patients.

I am dealing with breakouts that are not familiar to me. I went to a dermatologist and he
even didn't bother to look at my acne or answer my questions. He also didn't bother to ask me which soaps I am using or so. I spent 5 minutes in his office, and he was doing things very quickly. I saw him twice, but then I decided not to see him afterwards. I believe this guy doesn't deserve to be a doctor.

Has this happened to you?

That is what you would call an incompetent one, it is a doctor's job to treat their patients as if their lives is on the line no matter how minor the injury or the cause is. the moment they committed as a nurse and doctors, they should have made it clear to themselves the importance of a patient. I know, my mother is a doctor after all, she's usually kind and gentle but she's very strict when it comes to her work and she treats her patients very well and was always giving them her undivided attentions, God knows how many times she ignores me because she has a patient. anyway, that kind of doctors doesn't deserve their license. unless they are in the middle of a very serious operation, then they cannot afford to be distracted.

I am seeing another doctor to check my iron levels. He is a very good one. I even spend 1 hour in his office talking about body or vitamins. He even calls me if a blood test is done.

that is very good to hear, and thank you, I love my mother very much and dare I say, she's one of the best there is. and not because I am a mama's boy, it's just that despite her busy life she still manage to raise me and my sisters on her own as my dad died in Quatar during one of the raids. anyway I am glad that you found a reliable doctor and are you an Islam? or Arabic? Allah is Islam right? if I'm wrong I'm really sorry I didn't mean to offend.

I don't know much about Muslim's religion but I hope Allah bless you, and thank you. don't worry I am not really upset bout that as I never met my dad he supposedly been killed when I was still a baby so never met the guy but thank you anyway. he was part of the army S. E. A. L if I am right, and it's part of the job. the moment he took that job means he knew the danger of it and my mother had told me that every time my dad came home he would shower her with affection and love as because every time he leaves he might never come back as his job is very dangerous. anyway I had no problem with Muslims even though I don't have knowledge of your religion, which is why I ask as not to offend you. sorry.

I've also met some doctors that I had some bad experiences with. The problem I think is lack of humility. Doctors spend up to 6-8 years in school and some believe they have MASTERED medicine, while, a doctor actually PRACTICES medicine. I have respect for anyone who will devote themselves that long to a goal. The thing is, you never win being a doctor. There is always something to learn and always ways to improve in medicine. It is very complex. An individual in the medical field would be wise to always keep the mind open as a student, rather then believe themselves a master.

I think most doctors don't read after they finish the uni or don't try to update their information and in real life they face what they didn't read in the books so they just prescribe any shit most young doctors don't know even sample things one day I had pimple on my neck the doc said surgery I just went home and pulled the hair inside the pimple then solved

I agree that some doctors do lack ethical empathy. was treated like a retard by a doctor just because my voice is messed up.

I concur. Most doctors are ass-hats. No sympathy or empathy for patients. Became a doctor only for the money.
