I have a similar issue.
I think it just comes gradually. Your stomach needs to adjust over time to eating more again. Otherwise when you first eat more, you find it difficult to digest suddenly.
Add a little more each day/week and the results should come in. Make sure you are eating firstly enough and then more calories than you are burning off. Then you should put on weight. Compliment this with some light strength/tone training, either with body exercises or bands/dumbells.

you don´t just have to eat "anything" but stuff with high amount of calories. if you don´t gain weight it´s just not enough.
