They're just using curvy as a euphemism for fat... which is a bit annoying because it undermines the real meaning of curvy. If I describe a girl as curvy it means she has nice, noticeable curves - not that she's an amorphous fatty. When fat girls call themselves curvy they're undermining the meaning of the term, we won't be able to use it as a compliment anymore if they keep it up.

Yeah it's kinda stupid that they're mislabeling themselves, however this is due to the rudeness that some people project towards obese people. They're just creating a go-to comeback to prevent people from being jerks. But if they're fat, they're fat. As long as they are happy, they aren't hurting anyone other than themselves.
No offense but if they can call themselves whatever they want. Its not harming anyone and they feel good about themselves. Sure its not okay once it gets to a health issue point but still there is no need to make people feel bad about themselves just because YOU think there is a problem by a person calling themselves a certain body type. Its really none of your business. And this poll is nothing. I could go click the I agree button and still have a different opinion. Some people here press the wrong button on purpose. So it's really not accurate 100%. And people calling themselves curvy when they're not is NOT an issue any one really cares about. There's millions of important things and this isn't one of them. This is just judgmental garbage against a certain group of people. No one gives a flying chimp if you don't like what certain people call themselves. As long as they love themselves its not a problem and shouldn't be a problem.

And I mean on the inside where, at the end of the day, it really matters. And I just told you people sometimes choose the wrong answer on purpose. Because this poll means nothing. Even if it makes people mad. I was called fat and was harassed/bullied for years in high school and wanted to die. It didn't motivate me to be what they thought was ideal. I wanted to die. And with these types of questions it puts people down and makes them feel like something is wrong with them when nothing is. Everyone can and should love themselves. Even if it "annoys" people.
Well yes this poll would be gone and forgotten and fat people will still be deluded- what's your point? Sorry to hear about your horrible childhood experiences that's horrible either way. I do believe that if people want to eat themselves into an early grave it's the same as self harm. Then they become deluded and claim being curvy, I don't share in people's delusions. I would be like "what would you consider curvy" and see what they say. I would politely share my opinion and if that person is hurt then that's not my problem is it? The problem will always be their weight and they should expect people to walk on egg shells around them because of it. I don't bully or taunt people, and call me ugly inside all you like but just like the poll isn't a regarded as significant data, this one questions doesn't mean I'm ugly inside. That's just it I do NOT have issues with how I look. I'm perfectly happy with how I am and who I am. And actually this question doesn't make you ugly its how you call people gross and disgusting. That's wrong.. If someone doesn't ASK for your opinion then keep it to yourself. Otherwise its considered rude. I think fat people blame themselves (in private) plenty already. There is evidence that guilt worsens self-control, and leads to denial. So the first step is to stop hating on yourself if you're fat.
Abuse of the word, really. When I weighed more I never called myself curvy, so not all 'bigger' girls do that.
That being said, if they don't have a defined waist even if they lost weight they would not have one. When it comes to body shape, while they may get thinner and lose their stomach the body's fat stores would not change, hence their waist would still not be small compared to their hips.
Well yh but I don't hear smaller people with no curves call themselves curvy it's mainly from some people on the fat community who hijack this label.
Curves is just having more fat in the hip and chest area with a small waist. But some mistake it for simply having more fat than other people. It's a misconception to make themselves feel better than others.

It's up to you how you label yourself but I would say curvy (doesn't matter how big or small you are) but should have a waist smaller than your bust and hips

The term “curvy” was hijacked with the advent of online dating apps. Curvy traditionally describes the transition from the hips inward to the waist and back out again to the upper torso and can be seen from the front and the back. And from the side, the buttocks into the tummy and lower back and back out again as you transition up to the chest. Not the other way around.

I call myself curvy because I do have curves. They may not be where you think they should be but I have very defined curves. Most women have them and if you don't I feel sorry for you because that means you are shaped like a board.
Well like someone said curvy comes in sizes and in a figure 8, you have to have some form of waist to be curvy.

What do you mean how long do I work a week? I'm self employed, I pay rent to my location which is about £200 a week. I work about from 7am to 3pm or maybe 2 to 10pm depends on what is going on. Most people in the fitness industry approach larger people and they decline so we focus on people who are not overweight because the ignorance is less. My main clientele are women shifting baby weight, women who want to be at their best and guys who want to lose some weighg maybe a few stone here and there.

I work when I feel like it. I'm self employed and depends how many clients I have and I don't make $5 an hour that's shit money and I wouldn't work anywhere for that rate, that's below minimum wage in the UK.
