Who has a stonger back (spine ) in general?

is it true that women have a stronger back compared to men... i read this health and fitness article a few months back.

Lets talk about osteoporosis, this is pours in the bones, making them weak.

Women get osteoporosis more often than men.
Small, thin women are at greater risk, (because of the size of the person, they are more likely to get osteoporosis)
White and Asian women are at highest risk. Black and Hispanic women have a lower risk. (again related to size)

I think you women are missing one major point. We have the ability to bare children. Naturally you have to have strong back to carry all that (continuously) growing bundle of joy.

I doubt men's back are as strong as ours because of that. Who is it in old age typically that begins to have back problems first? Typically men...

i think so... i throw out my back quite often... especially the lower back pain is quite common in men compared to women... but i am only 32 yet i get a shit load of lower back pain on the other hand my wife has no back problems

Anyways I don't know how you'd measure even though I'm sure there is a way to. I have no idea.

i can understand i to get lower back problems... in my case my wife gets no pain
