+1 yThis is such weird timing for this question haha...
I was hospitalized for the *first time* just two weeks ago! I woke up one night hearing my cat growling outside my window. He was sitting on the windowsill outside and this other huge male cat was glaring at him and growling. I was annoyed, freaked out and tried to grab my cat and close the window which was such a stupid move! My cat totally panicked and latched onto my wrist and I started screaming and my family came running lol...
Anyways the next day I went to the doctor because it was all swollen and red, and he told me I have cellulitis and to take antibiotics. If in 12 hours it doesn't look better I need to go to the ER.
And just a few hours later the redness was up to my elbow and my hand was soooo gross looking. And it really hurt! I've been bitten by army dogs and broken my leg and all this crazy stuff in the army but man, this was really painful..
So I was hospitalized (freaked out then too) and got 12 antibiotics infusions. I was there for 4 nights..
But my room was in a newer part of the hospital which was lucky :)12 Reply- +1 y
by the way I hope you fell better soon! Pneumonia sucks!
- +1 y
OMG that sounds so terrible and gross 😷! I feel much better now because I got the anti biotics and medicine & luckily we caught it in time so it wasn't really bad :)

+1 yUrmm I was in hospital 3 weeks ago due involuntary movement I'm my right arm, head and neck. Sadly the doctors can't do anything about it so I just have to wait for it to stop.
03 Reply- +1 y
That's seems scary & embarrassing.
- +1 y
yeah it was. However finally it has started to stop :)
- +1 y
That's great!
I had a heart problem called supraventricular tachycardia. Basically I woud have episodes where my heart would speed up super quick, sometimes about 250 beats per minute. Not too long ago I ended up finally getting it fixed & had to spend the night in the hospital. Perfectly healthy now & I'm much healthier now because since it's been fixed I can exercise & be more active without worrying about it.

That's great!
+1 yThe last time I was there it was almost 3 years ago and it was because I had a blood clot and they had to remove my first rib on the left side and a neck muscle. I was there for 6 days and then went back and I had another blood clot so I was there 5 days again
02 Reply- +1 y
Ouch! I'm pretty sure you answered my scars question about that lol. With the scars from removing the blood clots.

I've been to the hospital several times in the last six months.
The first five times I had chest pain (I still do). Then, I kept feeling dizzy and weak for no reason.
Recently, I had to go because I had low potassium, with symptoms of dizziness and leg cramps.
But I also have anxiety, and it can cause physical symptoms too, so I don't worry about it too much.06 Reply- +1 y
Ouch that seems like a real pain & set back in everyday things
- +1 y
I do that all the time! I end up diagnosing myself lol. You have a better right to diagnose yourself though.
- +1 y
Well it's good you got it checked our before anything got super serious! I hope your hypochondria clears up (or is cured, whatever it does lol)
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe last time I was in the hospital was about a year and a half ago after I had a moderate-ish motorcycle wreck. I went in the next day to get checked up after my head was still hurting. I didn't have a concussion, just a headache and some minor swelling on my hand.
04 Reply- +1 y
That must have been scary
Opinion Owner+1 yNah, it wasn't too bad. It was scary right before I went into the ditch. But as soon as I hit the ground and stopped rolling, waited a few seconds for the surprise to wear off, I realized I wasn't hurt and was more upset about my bike lol
- +1 y
Not the biiiiike lol
Opinion Owner+1 yHaha pretty much. I was like "Oh fuck noooooooo. Is the bike ok?"
The guys I was riding with were like "Are YOU ok, first?" lol
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI thought I was going to have to go to the hospital about a month ago. I had the flu, and I didn't think I was ever going to get over it. I'm finally over it, I think.. I still have small symptoms and my voice will go hoarse randomly ever since I got sick.. :\ I've been in the hospital twice before though with pneumonia. That shit sucks. :\
01 Reply- +1 y
Good think you didn't have to go & you're mostly over it! For me we caught it early so it wasn't to bad.

- +1 y
@matheus_mb - best of luck for the future too. :)
Recently? Nah, only time I ever remember needing to go was when I fractured my leg. Not broke or anything just a little crack, I was really young, like... 6 or 7.
01 Reply- +1 y
I've never broken/sprained/fractured a bony in my life. The closest I ever had was jamming one of my fingers.
+1 yMy tummy was hurting like crazy and my head was hurting too. Also because my dad wanted to know why Im underweight and if I'll get taller.
So like 2 weeks ago03 Reply- +1 y

- +1 y
I eat Big Macs...
So it's something else lol hahahah - +1 y
Then it's not eating healthy lol
I go there M-F... past 8 years :) hope you're feeling better. The last time I myself was actually admitted was close to 3 years ago for the birth of my daughter.

Glad you're good bud!
I've never been hospitalized actually, closest thing to a hospital I've been to recently is a health clinic to get some vaccinations and a physical so I can play ball.01 Reply- +1 y
Well that's good
I was in hospital a month ago on a drip, due to ignoring the pain I was in. Could have avoided it all :/ if I'd just gone to see a doctor.

I've never been in the hospital overnight. The worst I've done is get a bone broken in my hand.03 Reply- +1 y

010 Reply- +1 y

- +1 y
But you were probably too young to remember all the details. I was 14 and remember evey detail of that damn day. It was the only time I slept in the hospital actually. I hope I won't need to do it again.
- +1 y
Well i was like 6 so I remember pretty well. It was during vacation so that helps lol.
- +1 y
Oops I posted that as an update lol :/
- +1 y
Yeah, 6 is not very young not to remember...
And lol, my opinion made you write a wrong update. I hope you can be merficul and forgive me :( - +1 y
Maybe I'll have to make you finish reading my book for me! O. O
- +1 y
Well, as you wish. Later on I can transfer you what I read via mind transfer, a new invention that humans still don't possess, but I stole from an alien agency ;)
- +1 y
Was that your interesting revolution study? The book is house rules & I'm on pg 472. Your lucky you do t have to read that much 😏😉
- +1 y
Oh, actually it's part of it. It can help with my plans of world domination and also to improve your rollercoaster throne experience and also the revolutionary anti-spider system. Yeah, just my luck. It must be a boring book.
- +1 y
Actually it's a good book I would reccomend it. I totally got the ending right! I'm so happy! World domination is a lot of work.
Damn that's a pretty nasty combo. Did you get a flu shot this year?
01 Reply- +1 y
No I don't think so, it's weird because I don't get sick often at all. When I do it's bad though lol.
