I play football (soccer) occasionally at school but I'm thinking of joining a club to practice every Sunday and I was just curious if my legs would become thicker because most female football players and most of the girls in the club I'm going to join have much thicker legs. (I am aware that professionals train more but I'm just curious if my legs would change if I start)
I don't think so. I played soccer for years (when I was 12-14 years old I played every day) and I haven't noticed my legs getting thicker because of soccer.

Not thicker... more muscular/toned. There is a difference.
If you're doing something that's healthy and fun for you it seems like it would only affect you in a positive way.

your thighs might get more thicker. but thats the muscle getting bigger. which is very attractive
