Eating 1500 calories too much too lose weight?
I hope see a difference within a month.
It depends upon your body. Some people will lose weight, others will gain. Do you know what your BMR is? If you don't, use the calculators on this website:
https://www.bmi-calculator.net/
My BMR is about 1680. So If I want to gain lean weight (muscle) while exercising, then I need to eat more calories per day than 1680. If I want to lose weight, I need to eat fewer calories than 1680. However, I can't just choose any amount--eating only 800 would cause me to lose muscle as well, not just fat. So eating only 1500 would be better, because I would lose fat but retain muscle (but not gain muscle!).
That said, if you are active and doing strenuous exercise, your body needs MORE calories than your basic BMR to maintain weight. So while my BMR is 1680, my active BMR is higher so I need to consume more calories to maintain weight.
Hopefully that example will help give you an idea of what might be right for you ;)
Thanks for MHO ;)
Step up the running to 45 mins to 1 hour after a weeks warm up and that's when you will start seriously shedding the weight.
Okay, will try and do that. Thanks
If you are exercising and you weren't before you really shouldn't be eating less than you were before unless you're obese (and diagnosed obese by a doctor) or were eating a lot more than you should have been.
Depends how many calories you burn each day. You just need to eat a little less calories than you're able to burn a day and you'll lose some weight

yeah I think you'll lose some weight.
no one knows the answer to that since everyone is different, but most likely yes, eating 1500 cals you will probably lose weight even without jogging anyway
Really depends on your height and weight.
