What is the best way to start out exercising?

I am 116.8 pounds, around 5 foot 11 inches, (nearly 6 foot) and as skinny as can be, (you can see parts of my bones in my arms and legs) I wanna start working out but have no idea where to start or what to do, what should i start off with, and how much a day?
