A guy and I hung out a Friday night socially with a couple other friends through a sport we ended up not doing that night so we just had drinks instead. I emailed on Sunday literally saying "hey buddy (so he wouldn't get the wrong idea), it was fun, we'll try that sport another time or hang out sometime". And he said ditto it was fun let's hang out again etc. We've known each other a few months from the sport and hadn't seen each other in a month and had post sports drinks and I never thought he liked me or vice versa or anything.
Monday at 1am he emailed saying 'Hey, what kind of movies do you like?"
I said 'Hey buddy, I'm not big into movies actually' and then continued emailing about other things not involving going out somewhere...
He emailed back saying 'I'm not big into movies either actually haha' and continued emailing.
Do you think there was something romantically intentioned in his initial email about what kind of movies I like?

Also, I really am not big on movies lol. I never go. If he has suggested pool I'd have said yes.
