Zolaf for anxitey reviews for 16yr old?

My mom is thinking of putting me on zolaf but is unsure of the side affects of depression, suicidal thought if I stop taking it. but does it help , is it worth it. Has anyone had any bad side affects after? And does is it hard to get pregnant later in life? Or does it affect you and your birth control, if your on the implant birthcontrol immplannon?

Your mom can't put you on Zoloft. You'd have to see a doctor to get that kind of medication, and he'll know what would be best for you. Antidepressants can have side affects, it always depends on the person, and they don't always help; but there's many different kinds and it's usually a process of checking in with your doctor and them adjusting the dose or kind to whatever suits you. If you stop taking it straight away it can cause bad side effects, but if you slowly lower your dosage over the course of a few weeks it's totally fine.

And as for the birth control the doctor or pharmacist would know, so you should mention it to them.

Your mom is better off putting you on medication such
as Keppra they are using it for Bipolar in teens but is
also used for Anxiety... It's a mood stablizer medication
i would not recommend Antidepressants for Anxiety i took
Zoloft but it worked against me.. A lot of psychiatrist will tell
you how dangerous Antidepressants can be... I take Keppra
and i am lot better with my Anxiety and Bipolar.

SSRIs are not recommended for people under the age of 18. It tends to make them worse.

I have really bad anxiety also but I know my mom takes zolaf for her anxiety
