Is bacon bad for health?

It's a pig's flesh and fat, fried in its own juices with added salt. It's definitely not good for you, that's for sure lol. If you want a long and healthy life, bacon and animal products in general won't help you get that. Of course, it's entirely up to you and what you want out of life.

@tenofthepeaks There's no need for your comment. I simply responded with what I saw on the TV at the beginning of the year. I didn't believe it and I still eat bacon so if OP wants to make it MHO, then don't be bitter about it.
