Warning be careful when eating fast food?

One day my mom and I decided to eat at Krystal's so we got a sack full and shared it. Later that evening, i started feelin sick and my burger came back but my mom's didn't. The next couple of days my mom became sick with severe diarrhea. She went to doctor and they gave her some meds and said the burger she ate had e coli in it, but her diarrhea continued. So Monday she had an colonoscopy and he confirmed that it is e coli and he told her to drink plenty of fluids and said bit had to run it course She lost over 30 lbs.. So for me, I won't be eating fast food anymore. Please be careful when you eat out! Have anyone else became sick off of fast food!

I don't like to do fast food too often cause i got bad feelings about it
i recall that if i eat at McDonalds especially i will get stomach cramps
sometimes diarrhea so i feel them places are under cooking their food
you got think it over how many of them burgers are sitting there 20 mins
before they come to us i really think ordering a pizza is better for you
or maybe going to a restaurant that is not fast food affiliated i know
people who went to KFC and experience diarrhea after they ate

Sad case!! Makes me glad I'm veggie!! Much less rink, and I don't go for unhealthy fast foods anyway.

Hope your mum is Ok soon. Good job you didn't digest your burger. You could have gone along the same route!.

There have been plenty of times where I've eaten fast food to no ill effect. I have, however, gotten food poisoning many times at both Taco Bell and tiny mom-n-pop diners.

Basically, you can get food poisoning at any time.

yes! I ate some last year and had this weird buzzing sensation in the middle of my stomach for months. I ended up trying some vit C, and it went away. but it took weeks, and I had to take the vit C every day or it would come back.

Wow do you know what it was that made you sick?

no idea. my whole family got ill, and they were tested, but none found anything wrong. but ER bills are high, so I didn't get any tests. but they took vit C too, and it's gone from them. and turmeric too. it sounds strange but apparently it has high potassium, so it helps with blood pressure issues (we ha d that too, and the turmeric worked)

That and H. pylori can happen and it sucks, I'm very sorry to hear you both got sick! I don't eat meat any more and try to eat organic fruits and veggies. I'm sick, but not from a virus or bacteria, it's been like that for over a year now.

I quit eating fast food when I was 13. I never got sick when I was eating it though.

It's not all fast food, it was improperly cooked and cleaned. Any food will make you sick unless it's cooked properly. I eat fast food a lot and never have any problems.
