Girls, Can you have a miscarriage and not know it?

Has anyone had a miscarriage in the very early stages of pregnancy? What were the symptoms and how did you find out?

Generally, excessively heavy bleeding and bad cramping, especially when it is not your period, the best way to determine if you have miscarried is to see a doctor immediately, ER or make an appointment as soon as possible. Sometimes a woman can have what is called an "incomplete miscarriage" and get a severe uterine infection. This is avoided with D&C which is usually used for abortion, but since the body has already expelled the fetus, it's used to remove the remaining things the body was unable to expel. Women can and do die from "incomplete miscarriages" and generally it's due to sepsis, if you have a heavy bleeding from your vagina and abdominal cramping go to the Emergency room, especially if it's NOT your period, if a fever follows especially. They will prescribe you anti-biotics.

A friend of mine at my job had a miscarriage. She was 19 at the time and was pooping blood and having stomach pains. She became so ill we had to call for help and the ambulance came and got her from the job.

You can have an ectopic pregnancy and nit know it.
i got bad cramps and bled like crazy, went to the doctor and learned i was having one. It sucked.

I think my aunt had one. She couldn't tell but she did find out the day after or a few days later. I forget.
