Should I weigh myself before I take my shower?

I have a routine of weighing myself every Saturday right after I take a shower, but one time I weighed myself before my shower and weighed myself after to check if I stayed the same weight. To my surprise, it showed that I actually went up in weight and was confused by this for awhile until I found out that our body can absorb water in a hot shower due to our pores opening up. Of course, I dry myself off before I get on the scale, but my hair is still wet so maybe that is causing weight gain along with water absorption. I'm not obsessing over this because I am already at a healthy weight, but maybe weighing myself before I shower along with not eating and drinking up until the weigh in will result in my true weight.
