But here I ask if u BELIEVE u might develop later…
Let’s be honest here. On a scale from 1 to 10 how much do you believe you will develop cancer in the future?
But here I ask if u BELIEVE u might develop later…
Considering that the probability of getting cancer in your lifetime is 25%, I'd say between 2 or 3. However, if considering my poor dietary choices (I don't really eat fruits or vegetables, and I eat a lot of meat), that'll probably bump me up to a 6.
But since my ethnicity has a low incidence of many forms of cancer, and there is no family history of cancer (my grandparents died of old age around 80-85 years old, and 2 are still alive at 90) I'd probably drop down to a 4.
25%?
dat's very high man...
i'd say 10%...
No, 25% is average among the entire population. I've been a cancer researcher for 5 years (not anymore).
The 25% is based on cancer rates within a LIFETIME, including all forms of cancer - even types that have low mortality rates (skin cancer). You're probably thinking 10% because you only see 1 in 10 of the people around you getting cancer today... rather than looking at a lifetime statistic. But by the time you're 90 years old, 25% of the people you've known will have had some form of cancer.
I have been a smoker for nearly 36 years. Odds are not in my favor. I said 8/9
oh... :/
Not a smart move on my part. But it will be what it will be
I have a feeling that I'll die because of some cardiovascular disease. All my relatives and grand parents and ancestors have died of heart attacks. High blood pressure and cholestrol runs in my family.
sucks...
It runs in my family
o shit... :(
wish u didn't get it...
Thank you for the mho

Couldn't put a number on it. I've had multiple family members with it, but it was all women with breast cancer AFAIK. I eat pretty well with few processed foods and not much junk food, though I didn't always. Don't smoke either, and don't drink excessively. But I know it's an increased risk nonetheless.
I know I won't die from smoking related Cancer, because I am a life - long non smoker and I have never been around people who smoke.
Quiet a few of my family members have died from other types of cancer. So I say i believe in all probability I will die from Cancer, but I don't dwell on that fact
I eat a lot of cured meat like bacon and dry cured ham, I also drink soda drinks virtually every day.
I'm pretty sure I will develop cancer by 50 years of age.
Absolute Zero... I don't smoke, I'm anti-alcoholic, and I'm a Vegetarian.
Yeah, so was my grandma and grandpa but they still got lung and bowel cancer. It can happen to anyone.
If a man lives long enough he will get prostate cancer so I said 10
It's definitely possible. My father never had it, but my poor diet might put me at an increased risk.
Its more likely to happen!
