Any advice/ideas regarding weight loss?

Hi everyone ! :) First thanks in advance ror your opinions

So I am currently around 172-175 lbs and I want to slowly and healthily lose weight
I wouldn't say I necessarily work out, but being in med school implies me going to certain places, movements etc, so I get my daily "excercise" in a way
But I know that I need to really work out to lose fat and tone

Also any ideas about eating habits? The main problem is that my schedule is weird so I either end up eating in the morning and around 8-9pm when I get home or grab some junk food while at school , which is not good at all
Should I maybe bring fruits with me or a sandwich?

Also another problem is that I am studying in a different city, so the food my mom makes fpr me lasts like 3 days, so the other 2 (or 4 of I am staying the weekend there) I buy shitty foods
And also crave sweets and salty things like chips (which I"ve quit for a while now and it's much better !)

The first month of med school I dropped like 11 pounds, so it's nixe, but I think it was too fast

Also how to stay motivated? :(

Luckily now that I don't have a scale here I stopped weighing myself every day.
