To eat or drink cold things with a sore throat. I have read that it is and isn't which is it

I don't think it's a good idea to eat or drink anything cold when you have a soar throat. Try to eat and drink something warm or room temperature.

Warm honey lemon water is great for this. The honey soothes your soreness while lemon provides lots of vitamin C to help cure you. Just slice some fresh lemon and put some honey into warm water. Do not go all lazy and drink those pre-made honey lemon tea bags as the nutrition is not as good.

Sometimes gargling warm saltwater will help sooth a sore throat as well. It just tastes bad😋
