If you cannot get homemade chicken noodle soup, Campbell's Chunky chicken noodle soup tastes pretty good. Other flavors are pretty good too.

Jello is good especially if you have a sore throat. You can get already made cups or make it from the box.

Theraflu for cold and sore throat works really well. I like the 🍋 lemon one in the packets that you pour hot water in the cup and drink it like tea.

Ahhh chew! I would make you homemade chicken noodle soup if I was there with you. 🍵

Drink lots of clear liquids. (Orange juice isn't a clear liquid.)

When you blow your nose, make sure you blow through one nostril at a time. Hold one side and blow out the other side. Then change sides. I didn't do that when I had a cold and my tubes in my ear canal became terribly infected and I was in bed for 10 days on 5 different medications.

    Best wishes,
    Sage 🌹

I have a fast metabolism. Getting sick does scare me. Once I caught norovirus from my old taekwondo studio (they were horrible about cleaning- but norovirus isn’t even effected by hand sanitizer) anyway. It was bad. I lost 19 lbs in a week being so sick. I’ll normally average 2 lbs of loss a day without being able to eat.

Homemade chicken soup is best though. So much better than canned.

If I’ve got a cold with a sore throat, I’ll have tomato soup. I find it eases the discomfort of the sore throat. Alternatively, I’ll have chilli con carne and rice, then go straight to bed and sweat it out of me. The only problem is, the next morning when I wake up I feel much better, but I look like something that’s been left out the fridge all night.

DayQuil, NyQuil, and soup. Feel better! Hope you are able to get that good down time. I feel like this is a whole another question.. some people like to be pampered when they are sick and some people like to be left alone. Which one do you prefer?

Oh I prefer to be left alone people didn't typically care for me if I'm sick I'm still expected to work like a dog at one point I had a high fever was vomiting and couldn't breathe my mom just threw me some pill went to work and told me to have the house packed and loaded into the U-Haul by the time she got off work keep in mind I was 14 and it was done by 7am I felt like shit but it was done

Stay away from dairy. Brothy soups are good. Comfort food. Hot liquids, orange juice will help clear the sinuses a bit.

It's too late for vitamin C, and that's pretty much a myth, as is echinacea. Just sleep and rest lots.

    2. hot tea

    3. crackers or toast

    4. juice
