Is it better to eat right after you work out or wait?

For weight loss purposes.
I read that for women is better to wait 90 minutes after the exercise to eat because the body burns more fat, but for men is better to eat right after.

thoughts?
I am usually very hungry after I finish my workouts but I am not sure what do, I want to lose some pounds
