The y are both just a psychological battle you need to conquer. You have to make the decision to make healthy choices starting NOW. The big thing about quitting smoking is realizing what triggers your smoking cravings. These could be things like stress, driving, after sex, or anything you incorporate with smoking. Once identified, figure out ways to avoid or alter those situations. So if you like to smoke when you drive, make a point of not having any cigarettes in th, e car.
As for the weightloss thing, make a pla to exercise EVERY DAY. But start with shorter workouts, otherwise you will be really sore the next day so maybe make a goal to run for 20 minutes every day for one week and then make to workout more intense as time goes on.
Hope this helps!

I quit smoking and prett much maintained my weight. I do think its possible!!!
I think the important thing here is to not replace the urge to smoke with with high calorie/suger/fat foods.
Once you start making healthier choices the easier they are. I used to keep track of my cal intake on my fitness pal when i wanted to loose weight. I never went over my limit and it was just a matter of time. That was before I quit smoking.
I would suggest doing one before the other as both are (can) be very hard to do. A lot of people gain weight when they try to quit smoking (they replace the craving with food).
If you focus on working out and eating better, you'll find smoking less and less appealing. Making it easier to quit that.
So focus on fat loss and working out first : D

Maybe not. What I would suggest is start by quit smoking. After you're done, then try to lose weight... don't start too many things at once. Of course, working out and eating healthy while you're trying to quit is a good idea to keep the weight you are at! And maybe it will be possible to lose weight :)
One step at a time. Once you quit smoking or losing the weight. You'll feel the accomplishment of doing so and be motivated to lose the other.
Chew a lot of gum perhaps?
I heard it helps quit smoking and also helps with food cravings.I guess you'd be surprised to know I was able to quit smoking by entering to the gym and start doing other physical activities.
