My dad just told me has cancer, what can I do?

He's having surgery and the doctor says the 10 days after surgery are critical days on if he survives or not...

he's been healthy his whole life this is such a shock I don't know what to do.

The best thing you can do is not treat him like glass... he is your dad still, so show him lots of love, and I am sure you will boost his spirit!

It depends if the cancer is in situ or invasive. Since it is able to be operated on, that is already good news. Just be by his side and stay with him every step, it is hell.

Cancer is something filthy. My granddad passed away a few months ago due to cancer, so i know what You're going trough. All you can do is support him and hope for the best. Ill hope he will be fine!
