\_____________/ ... Here is a hug. It may not be the cure but maybe it will give you a smile. And to answer your question or at least part way. I would indeed care for a friend or loved one and do just that on a daily bases. Both my parents are disabled and well terminal. It's not anything that my older brother or either of my two sisters would consider doing. My parents don't want to be put in a rest home as so many elderly people are , so my wife and I put our lives on hold to move them in and give them the dignity they deserve in their last days

I would totally go and check on someone if they were sick. But usually in my case the person tells me it's not necessary and waves me off from coming over.
