I've been in that situation before with my previous girlfriends. Sometimes I would leave work early just to take care of her throughout the whole day, and I've made a few mistakes. Such as kissing my girlfriend while she is sick causing me to get sick after she's feeling fully better. I realize I should have just waited for her to get better butt she just wanted to show her love loyalty and commitment for helping her get better and I wasn't paying attention at the time.

If she’s really really sick I’ll take the day off & play doctor. If it’s a bullshit cold I’ll tell her to take a pill & call me in the morning, I’m going to work.

I did once when we had to go to A&E. Unfortunately when the shoe was on the uther foot he let me down.
I'd like to think I'd be so kind to someone else again. But a big part of me feels broken from that relationship. And some that followed after.

I would say "no" for all but emergencies. An emergency might be like she vomits blood all over the floor. After that, I'd be like, fuck this job. I'll set this workplace on fire. I'm attending to my girl and I'll kill you if you stop me. But if she's just sneezing and sniffly from a girl, screw that, I need to make a living. Here is a donut.
