Do you think that there could be a vaccine in the future to prevent type one diabetes?

Type one diabetes is caused when your body's own T cells attack the body's insulin producing B cells. It's usually caused when a virus (who lets say has the same antigens as the B cells) is attacked and destroyed by the T cells. When this happens, the T cells also end up attacking the B cells, mistaking it for a virus.

There was a study done in 2015 in Germany, from kids ages six months to two years and type one diabetes ran in their families. They took a powered insulin which aimed to strengthen the body's immune cells to protect the insulin producing cells. I cannot find the result of the study anywhere.

I think in the life of people who are alive today that the majority of diseases, sicknesses, cancers, etc will have a cure or prevention. I think aging itself will be "cured".

Much of the medical advances are the result of computers. Computers today are a million times faster than when I first used them. We went from Kilo, to Mega, to Giga, and with hard drives even Tera.

When I was young, decoding DNA was something considered impossible. Nobody anticipated the speed of computers. Computers are still improving rapidly. Our knowledge of DNA and how to manipulate it is increasing exponentially, but still in it's infancy. Stem cell research is also in it's infancy and shows tremendous promise. Nano technology also shows lots of promise, and is also in it's infancy.

Unless something drastic happens to change things, the discoveries made over the next 50 years will be amazing.

I also think there will be all kind of ethical questions because of it. Like if most ways to die can be cured/prevented, and if the aging process itself can be stopped, then how do you die? There are tremendous ethical questions there. With godhood comes a certain responsibility.

I already know about this I wrote a mytake about it several months ago and yes I do believe they can. Doubtful, the medical establishment is a commercial business like any other and there is no money in the cure, moneys in the medicine.

They will develop ongoing treatment to keep emptying your wallet.

It's possible. I have type 1. I got it when I was 6. We think it happened then because a pesticide can blew up when our family was on vacation so toxic chemicals were in the air and it catalyzed the process because my mother got breast cancer then I got type 1 diabetes and then my brother got type 1 diabetes in a single period of little more than one year.

I have seen good cases presented by qualified people who argued that most of the type-one cases of diabetes were the result of vaccine damage.

A lot of medical problems have been attributed to vaccine damage, which was why the drug companies lobbied the US Government to create the secret vaccine court (which is not at court at all) so that they would be protected against action by the public.

Aside from Dr Andrew Wakefield's original paper, in which he demonstrated a link between vaccines and autism, not much has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Why?
Because the journals in the Western world are owned by six companies, all of which have links to big pharma.
Also, the journals rely on advertising revenue from big pharma for their survival.
Hence, the medical journals are as controlled and lying as the so-called news media.

Type 1 Diabetes is debilitating. I am very certain if not vaccine some solution will be discovered to end Diabetes. So yes I am confident soon we'll be able to prevent or cure Diabetes, both Type1 and 2.

Not my area of expertise. As much as I've read on it, I understand it is all genetic and therefore manipulable. At least seemingly, there is nothing to prevent a treatment of some sort for this problem.

I think there are cures for a lot of the worst things out there such as HIV, cancer, diabetes and so on. I just think the cures are withheld from us because too much money is made off of treatment.
