Are you determined? If yes, it doesn't matter how long it takes. Break it down into smaller goals so you won't get overwhelmed, eg for me, it motivates me to think that at every 6,5 pounds loss I can wear a dress size smaller. Your portions should be half vegetables and fruits ( vegetables a bit more than the fruits), 1/4 protein (there are organic sources of it) and 1/4 carbs. Prefer home cooked food over prepackaged, organic over processed, avoid fried stuff, sodas, alcohol. Start incorporating some physical activity, whatever you like.

I don't have pro tips but one thing i that don't set high number.
So you want to lose 50 pounds but don't start with that big number.
Break it down and it will be less stressful.
So maybe aim for 1 pound a week and just keep on going.
Don't stress out with the big number 50.
Here's a pretty large guide on it OP should help you make a diet and exercise plan

Stop being a vegan, that will help. Fish and white meat are fine. That along with fruits and vegetables, whole grain rice, water, and exercise and you will see results.
Steer clear of dairy, red meat, bread, anything carbonated, anything with non-natural sugar, and anything with preservatives.
No cheat days.I thought all vegans were rally thin - isn't that one of the 'advantages' of being a vegan? O. o
