No 100% agaisnt it, when I was going through major depression and trying commit suicide I am glad that I had people trying to stop me from doing it not pushing me to kill myself.
I am especially glad now that because of people trying to help me live instead of die I am here to type this message now.
@reixun i know I read the question but there are a startling high amount of people who support depression related assisted suicide to, and I disagree with suicide of any kind illness related or otherwise.
Especially when there are a lot of good programs out there that have helped people beat it.
The only cases that I've heard it being used for are for people that are terminally ill, a vegetable or in one case in Belgium there was a guy with a life sentence who preferred to just die.
I've never heard of people advocating for assisted suicide for anyone that's depressed or a little sick.
@QuestionMan I have on here multiple times -_- and other places, but like I said agaisnt assisted suicide in every way.
I think its a good thing.
If someone is well and truly suffering a terminal illness, they should have the right to die on their own terms.
They should have the right to pass into the afterlife peacefully and painlessly as opposed to making them and their families suffer
It works both ways.
I mean it's right that some people should have the choice. It's cruel to leave them suffering. We don't with animals. But then there are people that take advantage or the ones that'll do it without thinking
If someone is suffering to the point where reversing the suffering seems impossible and death is the only way to end it then I think assisted suicide is okay. Only as a last resort though.

i think that a life in extreme suffering is not worth it. if the means are available to let them pass away peacefully without pain then i support it. it is also hard for the family because no one wants to see their loved ones suffer so much, especially not if it was your partner.
Should be legal with guidelines, I wrote an essay about it once. Written consent from the patient with a terminal illness. Is it legal in other states? I remember it was only legal in washington a few years ago.
It's very similar to mercy kill, but it's the person choosing to end his/her life and not someone else do it for him/her. I can see why some people would support something like this
I think if a person is in so much pain and they are terminal then why not let them choose to not live.
Us keeping them alive is just disrespectful of their wishes.
i think the girl has her choice and she can do whatever she wants to. cancer suffering is not hard and tough as it sounds but its more tough and harder than that
It sounds terrible, but I think it's the lesser of the two evil. They can't watch their family confined to bed and suffer for the rest of his life. Then there's no point of living.
in my opinion, the one acceptable scenario is when your life won´t ever be enjoyable again due to a cruel sickness that can´t be cured and makes it impossible for you to kill yourself.
i think it should be used for very serious conditions... but im against it if someone just doesn't like their life.
It should absolutely be allowed if the person is of sound mind and a doctor has confirmed their illness is infact terminal.
About time. Many hav gone to Belgium for this. People should have the right to die the way they want. It's part of the right to live.
Killing yourself is against the law!
Is suicide illegal?
In many places throughout the world, attempting suicide or even following through with the act is considered a crime. So how can suicide possibly be illegal if you are dead, how are you still affected by law? In the event that someone commits suicide, (in some cases) the person’s property can be seized by the government and bills for treatment of the corpse can be sent to the person’s survivors or living family members.
I think it makes sense for some people. At some point it's time to call it a day.
Meh, I don't have an issue with it. You should get to decide whether you live or not, especially with a disease if you're in pain.
I feel neutral... bad and good thing
Like two examples
A guy has had a break up and wants to commit suicide
A guy is going to numb everywhere and doesn't want to live anymore
I'd say that you should fight for the first example
Canada just recently legalized euthanasia.
It's about time.
No one should have to suffer from a terminal illness if they can go peacefully.
WTF ! Drugged up family if they agree to it ! An Stop the Bull shit chemo , Just smoke weed, CBD THC fix lots of things & Destroys cancer! They have known this since 1974 ( U. S Government )
DRUGS
Pot Shrinks Tumors; Government Knew in '74
In 1974 researchers learned that THC, the active chemical in marijuana, shrank or destroyed brain tumors & cancer cells in test mice. But the DEA quickly shut down the study and destroyed its results, which were never replicated -- until now.
I totally support it.
i think anything to do with suicide is horrible.
People should have the right to die.
Depends. Watch Million Dollar Baby & we'll see.
Her, she can do what she wants with it
