Kinda apprehensive of everyone judging me but I want to get fit

Let's shake things up and drop some truth and say a few things that applies to me personally at least.

They say "no one pays any attention to you" "they're busy working out themselves" and all that. But if you're fairly pretty that's not entirely true.

Some of us are out there though noticing you're alone, repeatedly glancing from afar while my mind is screaming over and over:
"I wish I could hit that"
"PLZ, IT'S REALLY AWKWARD TO TALK WITH GIRLS IN THE GYM SO please GIVE ME A GOOD REASON TO TALK TO YOU"

But that's just me (but I'm sure there are many others as well).

No one is going to judge you at the gym. They are too busy working on their own physiques to pay attention to you. They will nod or say hello and strike up conversations when they get to know you, but beyond that it's nothing.

Well if you're hawt and wear revealing workout clothes guys and gay girls may occasionally try and strike up a conversation with you and ask you out but for the most part people dont really bother me and judge me or whatever but keeping ear buds in will deter people from talking to you I mean people may glance to look at you or look at the exercise you're doing but people judge all the time in and out of the gym so fuck em you go to the gym to benefit yourself so who gives a shit about what other people think

That's normal! A lot of girls go to the gym on their own, myself included lol. I train with a few friends now and then, but it's easier to go by myself because I can keep my own schedule and zone out with music.

Don't worry, no one's going to judge you. Everyone's too busy with their own stuff.

Nobody's going to judge you! I wouldn't worry about it, but it does help to have a plan as to what you're going to do. I go alone all the time, 2-3x a week. Sometimes my brother is there too, but we don't go together. I just plug in my iPod, do what I need to, and then go home.

I go to the gym on my own 3x a week. Why is this a question? You want to get in shape? You go to the gym. You do your workout. You go home. You repeat.

Are you supposed to go in a group? You work out much better on your own.

Well I go to the gym alone and its not that scary. Yes, people might stare, but I find it that I am able to concentrate more alone than by pairs in gym.

Although it can be fun with a gym partner once in a while ;)

I wouldn't think nothing of it. Millions of men and women go to the gym wanting to get fit or stay fit. It's the reason why 24 Hour Fitness is a multi-billion dollar corporation.

Nothing wrong with that. I went alone for years and didn't care what others thought. I met a friend there eventually, she was nice.
