When we have a discussion face or body which one would you take? Nearly everyone takes face and one of the most common reasons is "Everyone can get a nice body". I often scratch my head at the arrogance and quite frankly ignorance people make when they say anyone can get a nice body. First of all if getting a nice body was so easy then why is we have a rise in obesity among nearly every country and people with shit physiques who either are chubby or skinny fat?
I mean getting a nice body isn't just going to the gym for 3 months and suddenly you look like this:
It takes years of hard work, dedication, watching what you eat, mental willpower, discipline to hit the gym consistently every week and not just off and genetics which most people can't do hence why many people follow and adore people who are fit because it's a rare thing. To undermine that and act like it's not a big thing to obtain is like undermining a guy who went to medical school for 4-5 years to become a doctor and acting like BECOMING A DOCTOR is such an easy thing that anyone can do.
In addition, what i hate also is when these people who bust their ass to get a nice body many people try to undermine their accomplishments by saying they took steroids to get their bodies. It's like if you became a lawyer, engineer, high paying job and people started rumors you got your job due to family connections or accuse you of cheating on your exam.
Why are people such fools and think ANYONE CAN GET A NICE BODY?
Why do people always undermine and take so lightly the effort it takes to get a nice body?

Almost anyone can have a "nice body". I put that in quotes because what is nice is subjective. Not everyone can build muscle the way others can. Not everyone can keep a low percentage body fat as easily as some can. But it's incredibly ignorant to think that most people can't have a nice body. While, yes, genetics can play a huge role here, having a nice body isn't some unattainable feat. Is it hard work? For some it is and for others it isn't. That part is because of genetics, but a nice body is more about eating well than anything else. Now, if we only consider "nice bodies" to be those that are well defined built muscles, then that's a different story.
Starting from the right and going left. The first body is all about maintaining a healthy eating habit and staying active. Something anyone can do with some work. The fortunate ones don't even need to work that much if at all to obtain this kind of body. The middle one is really focusing on eating just right to obtain the right body fat percentage... and working out to obtain this isn't much different than the first one. For some they need to work out quite a bit and for others not so much. The last one all the way to the left is where true hard work and dedication.. Yes, technically almost anyone can have a body this defined. With that said, this is extremely hard to maintain and the ones that have this body rarely keep it for a long period of time since they need to bulk up by lifting weights hardcore and eating a bunch to build their muscles and then going on a very strict diet. People that are able to achieve this body, regardless of genetics, are truly working their asses off. Some people will have an easier time than others to achieve this body but this body isn't easy for anyone.
Yet, all three of these are nice bodies...
Now, I am not going to say that every person in the world can achieve a nice body, but technically speaking, almost anyone can get a nice body.. Meaning practically everyone in the world has a body that has the capability of having a nice body if they follow the right steps. If they eat right and stay in shape, then they can have a nice body. Whether or not they want to put the work in to achieve this goal is another matter, that doesn't negate the fact that physically speaking they can have a nice body.
They are ignorant; they don't know how hard it is -they would have a great/fit body if they did.

I don't think it's easy to get a nice body. I have to constantly work hard to stay thin. Obesity runs in my family, and I am terrified that I'll end up fat. However, I still prefer a nice face over body. I am actually glad that people do prefer the face over the body in case I do gain some weight. Every winter I tend to gain about ten pounds because I get lazy. I work out more in the summer. So I wouldn't want a guy to leave me just because I gained a few extra pounds. He won't because I am pretty enough. It's the same when it comes to guys I like. My ex-boyfriend was the same as me. He always gained weight in the winter too, but he was attractive, so who cares. The guy I like now has probably never been to a gym, and he isn't exactly fat, but no one would call him thin either. He has such a nice face that he can get away with it.
A girl can have a nice body like one of the ones above but if her face is ugly, guys won't give her a second look and that's the way it should be. It's probably why some ugly girls work out, they think they have to compensate for their faces, but only desperate guys will like them.
For men, they just better hope that the girl isn't after them for money.
I think the people who undermine the effort are the people who havn't tried from the first place, or they tried and couldn't achieve their goals, and it makes them feel good about themselves.
I've been working out for more than 10 years, I'm a serious athlete, and I'm always asked how I achieve my goals. I watch my diet I try tons of different workout methods and I try to stay up to date with new techniques, it's not easy to sculpt your body the way you want. But it's easier to have a healthy balanced life style. Like run half mile daily, eat salads, cut the sugar and do so on, and there is nothing wrong with that. but people how have this Barbie and Ken body shape are the one who went the extra mile with their workout and perseverance.
Well, the truth is, anyone can have the body they want. And it is fairly easy to do when you aren't expecting immediate results. No one said it wouldn't take a while to do. I found getting my Bachelor's degree extremely easy, but I still had to take 4 years of college to get it. But just because it took 4 years doesn't mean it wasn't easy.
It's more about willpower than anything else. I want a nicer body and my willpower fluctuates a lot due to an addiction to food that I have. But I know the process is easy. I just have to fight my own personal battle to get it.
Because it helps them feel better about their own laziness. The less unattainable they make it seem, most lazy people living in denial will be able to delay buying that gym membership or starting the latest crash diet.
You know what that comment is very ignorant on so many levels #1 some people didn't care when they were kids and then they tried later and it didn't work out #2 people have different metabolisms #3 some people have long busy jobs so they can buy things to exercise in the first place

So you mean their bodies refused to lose weight even when being given a healthier diet with smaller portions, paired with exercise? #2- people have different metabolisms, true. But if you have a slow metabolism, then according to that, you should stay satiated in respect to food for longer than someone who has a quick metabolism. So... If you've got a slow metabolism and are overweight, eating is obviously more of a habitual thing versus when you're actually hungry. #3 I didn't realize that having a busy job equates to mandatory excess weight on the body?
@Thetruthfullathiest I can't really understand the first part so I'll just ignore that. As for the second.. yes, your metabolism is generally much higher as a child. Making you more hungry, needing more food+nutrients to feed your growing body. Once you stop growing and developing for the most part once you near your 20's, your actual food needs drop. You should stop eating quite as much/as often as you did as a result.
I don't think that people disparage people with nice bodies because they think it's easy to do, I think they feel that it's kind of stupid to do. I mean, it's nice to be fit - no question about it, it improves your health, your mood, etc., but to be what I would call "excessively" or narcissistically fit, is totally different.
People who are what I would call narcissistically fit are demonstrating several positive attributes, which you list. They are capable of hard work, dedication, willpower, discipline, and they have "good" genetics.
BUT, let look at each of those positives:
Their "hard work" benefits no one but themselves - it contributes nothing to society (as a medical student's hard work does).
Their "dedication" and "discipline" is to themselves, or possibly to their body. Again this benefits no one but themselves, and even that "benefit" is an entirely narcissistic one.
Finally, they demonstrate that they have "good" genetics, except of course for the large number who abuse their bodies with steroids and other drugs. On top of that, they are demonstrating :"good genetics" only to the extent that "good genetics" means being able to build up muscle. Do those "good genes" make you are smarter person? A more giving person? Do they make you faster, or make you live longer? Are you more creative? Are you more fun to have around? Arguably, the answer to most of these questions is, "No."
It's all good to get strong and challenge yourself but your lean tone body will fade in a few years. At the end of the day if you have a butter face, you'll still have a butter face.
I think anyone can have a nice body but anyone can also be pretty. As long as you have the resources, money, and time. The reason why not everyone is attractive or has a good body is because they don't have the money, time, resources, or energy it takes. And obviously some people have other priorities. I think having a good body is more admirable than being naturally beautiful because to be naturally beautiful isn't really an accomplishment; you were just blessed with good genes. But a good body shows dedication and hard work.
The hardest part of getting a "nice body" is way more difficult in consistency and execution, than it is in the Xs and Os.
First off, u have to be OBSESSED with wanting a nice body. It is a lifestyle change, no joke.
Secondly, don't be a slave to your tongue. As in, many, many, many, MANY people eat purely for the enjoyment of the foodgasm alone. This is the NUMBER ONE MOST IMPORTANT thing to change in your lifestyle! This separates the "haves" from the "have nots" when it comes to health and nutrition.

No one has ever said that getting fit was easy. At the end of the day the face matters more. When you first meet someone they're probably gonna be fully clothed so the first thing you're gonna see is their face. That's usually the first thing we look at. Faces have our eyes, and our smiles, and our frowns, and more. Faces show emotion. Even though it can be super hard to get fit it is possible for mostly everyone. Having a nice fave is something you're either born with or you pay tons of money to get plastic surgery or makeup to cover it. No one is trying to undermine nice bodies but if you made women choose between a person with a nice body and a face that looks like Steve Buscemi vs a guy with a face like an angel with an average body, I think more people would pick the second guy.
Anyone can get a nice body. Just because it's hard work doesn't negate that. It's within the realm of possibilities.
Not only that, there's a difference between a nice body and jacked or super fit. Most people just need to lose some weight and get toned, which isn't hard.
You posted extreme examples that honestly? Don't look as nice as bodies that take less work.
Because you dna is written in your face. If its ugly well guess your dna isn't the best Thise chicks dont have nice bodies to me at all. And fyi manh people have naturally nice bodies s all they have to do is stay active. othera like you have to work at it. Obesity is caused by a range of things, range of problems And since your so antiface realize if people became skinny again like theh where 15 years ago it will be even more about the face.

Genetics are important but quality of life isn't determined by genetics. You have to work hard in life to get what you want.. not all people are blessed with a fast metabolism and perfect bone structure. I have a 29 inch waist and ideal bone structure. My muscle bellies and insertions are above average.. but if I didn't have the best genetics is that to say it's game over in life.. ? what kind of cringe mindset is that? Only that a lot of people genetically have nice bodies since dude wad implying that for most its something you have to work at. If your active your going to have a nice body most of the time so you maintain what your genetics gave you.
Who even said having a nice body was easy? Its hard work! However, when people pick between taking a nice face over a nice body body, I think what they mean is what is more inportant. A face has character, smile lines, dimples, eye color, eye shape, how that person smiles, how they look at you, etc. Of course face is damn more important.
Because people who say these things don't exercise or do so rarely. It's like those fat asses who watch UFC/football and think all they need is a couple months of training and they'll be as good as the players on the tele. People in general are delusional.
the real issue though is that certain groups of people are overly obsessed with their bodies which is what makes people want to make fun of them, simply because there's more interesting things to talk about.
So I use to be into the body building scene and the stuff the preach is effective but also cancerous. Peeople can be quite annoying about it and talk about it all the time with people who don't care. Then I find the body builders take it the way yu are describing but in reality the people around them just want them to shut up being their annoying. Pretty much every guy who ever got into this scene was because he was unpopular or girls did not like hI'm. They'll deny it but it's true
Getting a nice body is easy when you take the time and dedication, it also takes effort. The reason there's a rise in obesity because people are just lazy and don't want to exercise. It's a lot easier to sit around and eat because it takes no time or effort out there day.. I know this cause I'm one of those people lol I rather go for a long walk at the park instead going to the gym.
It's easy when you have the time energy diet and genetics. Work 60 hours a week in an office and things slip. I'm still in shape I think because of genetics and diet prefrences People are fat because they do less physical work and junk food is easyer to get surround someone with only healthy food and put them close enough to quickly walk to work, uni etc and they will slim up a bit at least or go as far as japan did and they will a lot more!
You're right, achieving a good body can be very difficult. But still not as difficult as changing your face, which is practically impossible. And the face is always visible whereas the body is often covered up, especially in winter. You can dress in ways that flatter your body type and cover its flaws but this isn't an option with your face. I find that an ugly face negates a hot body.
This may sound odd, but I think it has to also deal with the factor that you can see the effort of someone taking care of their appearance. You really can't see someone getting smarter (unless they carry books everywhere and spout out info all day), getting laid all the time (unless you are a creeper), more wealthy (unless they flaunt it all the time).
They are lazy people. Getting slim isn't too difficult for many people, but actually being in good shape and fit with muscle takes so much work and years of effort to be really good. Many people also mistake being slim with being in good shape, and it is completely different. If they've never been there, they won't understand how much work it really is.

because some people are often delusional and egotistical, and even then some people are handed great bodies on a plate. (from a girls perspective anyway) i guess the only other reason would be to make themselves feel better about their lack of commitment to getting a great body. what do people often do when they feel inadequate and others are beating them in life? put them down to feel bigger.
but some people do know how much work it took it's a harsh world, with a lot of stupid people in it

i think that girl is too muscular. the guy looks good though. i know it takes hard work to look like that, but i dont think that if you dont look like that then that means you dont have a nice body. to me she is too muscular and defined and its not that feminine... but i do see your point. it is a lot easier to be fat so we should at least celebrate the work it takes to stay in shape.

Because with some effort and dedication anybody can have a nice body... Even though most people won't have that much discipline... But no matter how much will power, time and effort you'll put into your face it will never look better without some plastic surgery.
Because anybody can get a nice body... It's possible for everyone. It's possible for a 400 lb person to lose the weight and become fit. It's not possible for everyone to have the face they desire naturally. You can change your body naturally (even if it takes years), but you can't change the genes that give you your face.
It depends on how much a person damaged their body before they decided to work out.
If you're in okay, healthy shape, then you decide to work out, you won't have a tough time. In 90 days you could look quite different if you work out.
If you've been eating shit and living like a pig for years and you're 50 pounds overweight... yeah, looking good in the mirror will take a lot of work. Damaged cells and messed up organs don't heal overnight.
Unless you have an illness, anyone can get a nice body, but I agree it takes a lot of hard work and possibly money for a good diet plan and gym membership. But, you are more or less born with your face, so that's basically the point.
The logic of being able to achieve something when you put in the effort vs not being able to achieve it at all no matter what you do. And again, if it's worthy or not.
In my country it takes 8 years to become a doctor.

I watched a documentary on Steroids and they come after training in terms of benefits and well after genetics. The worlds fastest man didn't take them far as we know. I think the main thing is definitely genetics just look at Belgian blue cattle there not working out all day they just sit there eating grass yet there ripped.
I have to disagree, a little weight lifting and proper dieting is all it takes. Now, that isn't too say it's easy, many lack the willpower, but depending on your starting point a month or two is all you need.
Well no but with diet and training it is very possibly, you just have to have the determination. If your face is ugly you can't work your way out of it :)
I prefer a handsome face, with a good body over a super hot body and just an ok face. But I agree, I have mad props for those that dedicate time and effort in to getting fit. I'm working on me right now, too.
The examples are extremes but even having a fit and well maintained body requires years of being at the gym. Even then I have seen some fat people with a lot of stamina and able to do some very physically challenging tasks. So physical appearance alone does not judge capabilities.
Depends on where you are at when you first start at the gym and where you want to be. Took me years to get to a certain strength. I had to plateau a few times. Changed my workouts and improved my strength. Now if you plan to loose weight that could take a few months. But now you are just skinny. Skinny is not attractive without muscle mass. Building muscle takes time to put on. You have to tear the muscle and give it a few days to repair itself. At this point you are on natures time and this can take years.
@Thetruthfullathiest Some people are blessed with good bodies and do not have to work as hard, yep i am blessed but still work to maintain what i have, some people are not and need to work extra hard to get the results they want.
No. I'm just jealous that all the girls are unhappy with their boyfriends because they don't have a six pack. And don't say "oh just go to the gum and get one" because I like to enjoy life sometimes, too.
