If by 'jacked' you mean 'competition-level bodyfat,' then no, that's the dumbest thing in history. Trying to maintain that level of leanness literally kills you. With extreme chemical intervention, your blood work will go to hell very quickly. Most notably, free testosterone is optimal around 10-15% bodyfat.
So yeah, I agree with you 100%. It's a very effeminate thing to want to be so lean all the time, looking at your ass in the mirror. I've never been below 10% boyfriend and I've never had a single girl complain about my body. I'd rather be strong than shredded.30 Reply

Worrying over your bodyfat levels and "checking your cuts" every morning is pretty gay. The only guys who really worry over this are gay men and 'gay for pay' hetero bodybuilders. Most real bodybuilders spend the vast majority of the year at offseason boyfriend levels, because that's the only way you'll ever make real gains.

I find the extreme lean look unattractive, and I agree that it's pretty effeminate for a guy to worry over his body that much. I'm not into excess fat, either, but I'll take big and strong over stringy leanness any day. Not into the prissy Zac Effron look at all.

+1 yHow is it feminine and gay to want to be lean and muscular? Body fat isn't a masculine thing. Lmfao.
Some guys think it looks good. Some girls like it. Personally I don't like super lean muscular guys, there should be an appropriate level of it245 Reply- +1 y
Because wanting to be thin is an insecurity associated with females.
- +1 y
No but less bodyfat=less muscle. Everytime a dude cuts he loses muscle, and the dudes who maintain abs year long never grow any.
- +1 y
It isn't about wanting to be thin. It's about wanting what they view as a nice body, and it isn't being "thin" it's being muscular as fuck. That ain't "thin"
It just sounds like you're trying to make men like that unappealing so you can feel superior - +1 y
Ya I mean I don't know what you're talking about now. First you said jacked guys now you're saying guys without muscle. A jacked dude is extremely muscular.
- +1 y
What are you even talking about?
- +1 y
Are you talking about this
www.bodybuilding.com/.../...fat_categories_gsm.jpg
Or this
cf.girlsaskguys.com/.../...d-8bf9-1e8bbf896d65.jpg - +1 y
First one obviously.
- +1 y
How the hell are bulging muscles feminine
- +1 y
And he isn't "thin" he's hust more muscle than fat. Again fat isn't masculine. Everyone's got it and needs it but higher levels are associated with estrogen.
- +1 y
That is thin.
- +1 y
What muscles? By arms are bigger not flexed.
- +1 y
5 lbs of fat hanging on an arm isn't manly I'm sorry. It isn't manlier than 5 lbs of muscle
- +1 y
That's like a bodybuilder woman with huge pecs saying her tits are bigger than the C cup girl next to her lol
- +1 y
I think you're ill.
- +1 y
I think you're trying to feel superior to men who are perceived as more attractive
- +1 y
No i dont have that problem. Im simply making an observation that men who stay lean year round are insecure.
- +1 y
Or you are. What's wrong with having a body you like and working for it?
- +1 y
I workout. And lift heavy.
- +1 y
Wow so insecure
- +1 y
By your logic you're insecure
- +1 y
You have no logic.
- +1 y
What's illogical
- +1 y
Point it out specifically
- +1 y
No because your head is too thick.
- +1 y
If I'm so illogical why can't you tell me what's illogical?
- +1 y
This is what i mean
static.squarespace.com/.../catwoman6720122.jpeg
That is muscular. Not that twink you posted. - +1 y
That guy has more fat over his muscles than the other guy. How does that make him more muscular? He's bigger because he's got more fat plus a lot of muscle. Lean dudes are just muscle with a bit of fat.
Again you're just trying to make yourself feel superior - +1 y
You can't be serious.
- +1 y
Explain where I'm wrong.
- +1 y
No.
Filler - +1 y
Because I'm not wrong 😂😂😂
- +1 y
@RachelBrigs You're wrong. Ultra-low bodyfat kills testosterone levels, so by definition it's not masculine. Plus, shaving your body and being obsessed with how you look is about as faggy as it gets.
- +1 y
- +1 y
@BigJake well technically what happens is that if you eat very little you end up decreasing leptin levels found in the body and less leptin can result in less testosterone. However these big bulky muscular guys aren't usually starving themselves- they're using energy from food to make muscle not fat. Also, burning fat converts estrogen stored in fat cells to testosterone. So again neither of you are correct.
- +1 y
I also don't tend to take guys who call things "faggy" seriously.
- +1 y
@RachelBrigs you have no idea what you're talking about. Leptin has less than nothing to do with T levels. The big, ripped guys have no issues with low bodyfat because they're administering exogenous testosterone and anti-estrogenic drugs to keep their hormone levels at optimal levels. It's a delicate pharmacological balancing act that takes a long time to master.
by the way, I don't take uninformed people who spout nonsense seriously, so we're even. - +1 y
Leptin is not the cause of decreased T in men with very low body fat levels. In fact, Leptin levels are inversely *correlated* with adiposity, so that a man with ultra low body fat should have really high levels of Leptin. If Leptin actually controlled T production, then men with the lowest boyfriend would have the highest T. That doesn't happen, though.
What happens is that T levels fall of a cliff in men who sustain boyfriend levels below ~10% for prolonged periods. Physiological stress levels skyrocket when boyfriend is too low, excess cortisol is then produced, which in turn leads to the so-called "pregnenolone steal." No pregenolone means no T. Leptin has nothing to do with this process. - +1 y
@HikerDude @BigJake the several articles I read are where I got my information. But whatever- if you're right it still does not prove lean muscular guys are feminine. Lol
- +1 y
I never said lean and muscular was feminine. I train every day to be both. I said that obsessing over staying *competition lean* is very feminine, because obsessing over appearance is a feminine characteristic. I don't know one woman who finds male self-obsession with looks to be desirable. But hey, to each, her own.
- +1 y
- +1 y
BigJake is spot on.
- +1 y
OP that was your original statement but you've been calling them winks and saying how you're bigger than them so..
- +1 y
So what? Im already tired of you and your dumb questions.

+1 yLol I've found in my experience that a lot of people who don't have the best genetics and don't have the required discipline to get to lower body fats hate on others who do. My gym as a lot of power lifters as well and we all say the same things back at each other lol. Power lifters call bodybuilders gay and feminine. Bodybuilders say the reverse. Some truth on both sides.

Losing weight is easy.
- +1 y
Have you ever been sub 10% bodyfat? I'd assume you have pics. If you're not an ectomorph it's mentally challenging.
- +1 y
I have no interest losing that much.
- +1 y
So you've never forced your body to a sub 10 percent level while maintaining lean muscle tissue but claim its easy?
- +1 y
You have trouble understanding. I said its easy to lose weight. But i have no interest in losing muscle to look like a woman.
Because that's what women find attractive. Plus people in general think a muscular toned look means that person is stronger.
15 Reply- +1 y
Dude you have no idea what women want.
- +1 y
Depends on the woman.
- +1 y
@HikerDude Yeah that's cool to know. I'll let you know when I have a fuck to give.
i have no clue, going under 10% body fat is not really healthy, it makes your immune system weaker and makes you more prone to disease and depression. its not too functional either because if your fat percentage is too low you lose some strength.
03 Reply- +1 y
Exactly. You can't gain muscle or strength and keep your abs all the time. Im tryin to look like tom hardy from batman not twinklebell from Peter Pan.
cittadiniperbatman.files.wordpress.com/.../bane04.jpg - +1 y
Im at like 18% right now cutting down to 10-12% then going back on a bulk.

015 Reply- +1 y
Right but below 10% bodyfat isn't healthy. If a dude is concerned with attracting women, he most likely isn't. If u know what i mean.
- +1 y
Being lean doesn't always mean being healthy
- +1 y
I think wanting to be really lean is a very feminine thing. There are no real reasons to be under 10 bodyfat.
- +1 y
Im not about being fair about winning. And holy fuck are you smoking hot.
- +1 y
@GoldCobra like that matters lol
- +1 y
@GoldCobra a lot girls really dont care about looking super lean. Whats universal about all girls is they like confidence. And thats not usually associated with their men being feminine.
On another note id make her my ex wife. she's probably got a super lean body, so fine. - +1 y
@GoldCobra lmfao
+1 yI like being able to see my muscles without getting to muscular= lower body fat%
im at 12 now and i can maintain it pretty easily03 Reply- +1 y

06 Reply- +1 y
Im at 18% right now. Im only going down to 10-12%. Take a few pictures then bulking up again.
- +1 y
Lots of dudes stay at 6-10 % and never gain muscle.
- +1 y
well its not gay, its attractive. lol and their metabolism is super high. They're working harder to bulk than to stay thin usually
- +1 y
And who told you that... redeyes? Lmao. Yeah there are hard gainers with shit genetics, but thats not the case with most of these fairies.
- +1 y
lmao no i just assumed it.. the more you lift, the higher your metabolism, therefore the more you have to eat to get bigger.
- +1 y
Yeah of course. Anyone that lifts seriously knows that. Im specifically talking about the dudes who are insecure enough to stay lean all year. Sacrificing their gains because they want abs.
