How long can it take me to lose 60 lbs?
thanks xx
It's possible, but at the extreme end of what is possible, or healthy... If you weighed 100 pounds you would have a BMI of 18, that's a bit underweight, with a weight of 110 pounds you would have a healthy BMI of 20, but 120 pounds would be fine and very healthy as well, so go for that. Plus if you lose a lot of weight really fast you'd have loose skin for a while.
To get to 120 pounds you would need to have an average 900 calorie deficit per day over those 6 months. You would also need to consume at least 70 grams of protein per day and do at least some light exercise to prevent muscle loss.
HIIT Cardio and weight training is the best way to burn fat. Steady cardio is not nearly as effective despite popular belief. But it's also very important that you decrease the amount of calories you consume relative to how much you exercise. Of course, if you start working out, you'll need more calories than usual. Eat fewer carbohydrates, don't eat sugar, and eat small meals. Don't eat until you feel stuffed. Workout at least 5 days a week. If you leave the gym feeling like you can still keep going, you didn't work hard enough.
I think it's doable but it would be much healthier if you did it over the span of a year or maybe even more. Losing weight fast means that you have a higher chance of getting it back. I'd do it right the first time. Plus if you weigh 130 lbs at the wedding that's not too bad.
Begin Tomorrow, @anamenal.
It takes Awhile to Lose this weight and Time is a Wasting as I even Write this.
Put yourself on a Good healthy Diet and Remember... Exercise goes hand in hand.
Good luck and I have Faith in you. xx

Weights and HIIT cardio. Amd heavy weights none of this 5 pound concentrated bicep curls lol
Make a realistic goal try 5 pounds first the another 5 pounds and so on. Most people aim for too big of goal, 60 pounds, and the become distraught when the weight doesn't come off fast enough so they give up on their goal. Start off by making small goals and accomplishin them. I think if you could get down to 115 you'd probably be good. So don't be too hard on yourself.
Eat less, exsercise more and you'll lose a lot you can do it if you pretend this mean the world to you. I will seriously text you to put this or that down if I ever think your trying to be slick ( just joking) it's depends on your hard determination.
Slower.
The slower and more consistently you lose it, the more probable it is it will actually stay off.
Use a calorie tracking app and be brutally honest with it.. count every calorie. Walk a few miles a day and you can do it. I lost about 40 recently in 4 months without starving myself...
6 months should be ok to loose that weight. Just focuss on a good fat burning workout and a good nutrition plan.
Its definitely doable with discipline however I think 115 is much more realistic and will look better x (we are the same height).
That's not too extreme. 2 pounds a week, 8 a month is what most people would consider safe. So a little bit more than that isn't bad.
nah not enough
loosing 10 lbs in a month is a bit drastic in my opinion
just focus on the long run
you wanna stay healthy
If you're really disciplined you can make it in 3 months
Persue my crushes when love was as easy as asking someone out. Oh innocent middle school ages, it would have been so nice.
No idea wtf happened there. gag went to the wrong post lol.
You can safely lose 2lbs a week with a good diet and lots of exercise.
While it's possible, I'm not sure it's the healthiest thing. I recommend Weight Watchers. Follow what they tell you, but make sure to eat some of those extra points they give you on occasion.
Cardio. If u have a backyard, then ur alrdy set to go.
If you get serious. Lose at least 13 pounds per month.
That requires an 1800 calorie per day deficit. That's insane, it would interfere with your ability to work/study (it could even mess up your body's development if you're underage) and would probably come with significant muscle loss. At the end you'd be an unemployed/dropout skeleton with lots of elephant skin dangling from it.
@JohnDoe3000 I lost 25 pounds in the past two months
Well I hope you have a doctor or a dietician monitoring you, otherwise you're putting yourself in danger.
@JohnDoe3000 I feel fine. I've been running ever yday, I play volleyball, and just try not to eat really sugary things.
I think it possible tge first 30 or 40 pounds will come off pretty quick but the last bit will be tge hardest
About 6 months to a year.
You don't need to lose that much.
