Vitamins do not give energy, they but they help in converting enegry.
If you want instant energy boost you need to obtain carbohydrates, specially monosaccharides, disaccharides, and some oligosaccharides; and if you want long term energy, both oligosaccharides and olysaccharides.
As someone mentioned there are certain vitamins needed to convert the carbohydrates into energy.
From the 5 types of nutrients only 3 give energy (carbohydrates, proteins, and fat), the other two don't (vitamins and minerals)
Vitamin B-12 that I know for a fact because it aids amylase, which is an enzyme that helps convert food to glucose and digest carbohydrates.
The vitamin B class is the most important, then D and then C.
Although you should eat C before D, because it is not stored by your body.
The rest are antioxidants that are used in very small quantities and stored by your body, so you are unlikely to ever run out of them with any kind of sensible diet.
Why C before D?
Should I add B to my diet?
@Lostsoulman because vitamin C is not stored anywhere in your body and neither is vitamin B.
So you should eat them regularly.
The D vitamin gets stored in your fatty tissues, so you can get away with not eating any for a while.
Unless you are a vegan and eat enough meat, fish, milk and eggs (and some beans/legumes) you should have no problem getting enough B vitamin.
B vitamins are mostly in animal products.
If you are a vegan you should take B12 supplements and look for what non-animal alternatives there are for other B vitamins, B6 may also be hard to get without non-animal products.
Okay because my energy and mood was very low, so I started taking D and that helped my mood a lot. C Just makes me feel better.. I eat a lot of meat though...
vitamin D is your best bet. vitamin can increase energy but would do anything for mood. Vitamin D is shown to improve immune system, provide energy, improve general mood, and can improve overall health in various systems

Supposedly Vitamin B, specifically Vitamin B12, is supposed to boost your energy. It's mainly found in animal protein.
i never take any vitamins specifically, i just eat food and fruits for vitamins
Vitamin D 😏
Its supposed to help with depression. You mainly get it from the un, so thats why during winter a lot of people feel gloom.
@Decentguy it's what I've read.

None. That's not what vitamins do. That's not how vitamins work.
D, but only if you have a deficiency (it's a fairly common deficiency, so that's why I voted for it).
The B vitamins are mainly used for cellular metabolism, so I would start with those in terms of supplements.
Vitamin eat vegetables is the best. Even bodybuilders and celebrities use it
Vit B for men and women.
Vit D for men (testosterone boost, too).
I dunno but the pills I take for depression have B6 in them, and depression is one of the symptoms of B6 deficiency, I guess because it helps with the synthesis of neurotransmitters
I don't know, but I wouldn't mind knowing such information. I'll look it up.
i think it's vitamin b
C-men vitamins. Ask any guy where to get C-men.
You have my upvote, dude
