I have a question about tendons?

sometimes, when i get up in the morning, my tendons lock up so tight that i can hardly walk. the same thing happens to me when i'm at work, so that i end up walking with a limp. it's even happened when i get off work, when i sit down to take my shoes off. it takes me at least another hour to be able to stand up and walk again. it's rather irritating, but i cannot take time off of work because then i won't be able to pay rent.

i have tried tendon stretches, bananas, and even hot water (this tends to loosen them up a bit). has anyone else ever had this problem? or know what to do about it?
