Sounds like emotional eating especially if your eating based off your emotions and your not hungry. Try myfitnesspal. com to start tracking your food and maybe incorporate some light walking. You didn't put the weight on in a day so you can't expect to lose it that fast. Slow and steady weight loss is best for long term success. Have you seen a nutritionist? Do you know someone who could be your accountability partner? It's nice to have someone to keep you motivated and on track at least until you can do it by yourself. I track my calories everyday using the myfitnesspal app and I measure and weigh myself once a week.
