As an American, I've been stereotyped as being arrogant and stupid. But why should I listen to those inferior, foreign mongrels? America is the greatest state in Europe
I went to school once, and they tried to send me to English class. I told that teachin lady that the only languages I need to speak are American and Sarcasm.
I tend not to mention the name of my origin country. Its an Asian country and stereotyped as poor country. But as a very attractive guy , people say "You must be a son of rich parent", "For a xxx guy, you are a good looking guy".
On the other hand, some people doesn't have good geographical idea about my country. So they presume in general people of my country are good looking.
From Australia. Never been sterotyped (to my knowledge) closest I've come was some guy was salty at all Aussie women beause the only one hed ever spoken to happened to be a bitch and he had no concept of the crude humour we tend to use.
I learned through school, but I was taught a bit by family. Some Spanish speakers where I live actually go to school there to learn a bit more Spanish than they already do.
I am from India n has been stereotyped about food, poverty population. Yes there is all of this but there are good aspects as well. I think every country in the world has some traits applicable to it. And every country has something good or bad about it..
I'm in the fortuitous position of coming from a country that has relatively positive stereotypes (mostly) and having a lack of 'give a crap' about both the good and bad ones, so I get to mess with them and sometimes mess with people's heads about it. That is fun.
Russian bride/ mail bride, Russian woman are big and strong... that one is still a big wtf to me lol, you must love putin is friggen annoying, is your last name hlavhafkasha? is funny...

Asians are being stereotyped as being good at maths, having small eyes and are all the same even if there are different Asian nationalities such as korean, japanese, chinese, cantonese, Vietnamese etc. because Asians are so not superior compared to those "superior" countries right? and for me, I dun have any of the stereotyped qualities listed above lol
Yeah, outside my country people often ask me how come I have so many topics to talk about or how so I know many languages cuz people from my country are 'poorly educated' or 'too stupid to learn something' it's really annoying
As a swiss I'm standing for swiss cheese, chocolate, the Matterhorn, cheating banks and Swiss Army Knifes (THX MacGuyver...). But we have so much more... Ahm... *thinking* I just doesn't remember... :D
These were the good ol' times... Too much money laundering and other affairs... And after 2008 our biggest bank, UBS, just survived with more than $ 3 bn of gouvernment funds. Stable used to be... ;)
Apparently my meals consist on croissants, baguettes and red wine. I love to paint and only wear berets and marinieres and, of course, all guys are after me because it's the city of love after all
I'm from the United States and was "stereotyped" on a trip to Canada. Everyone kept asking me if I like Trump and how bad our healthcare system works haha. It was entertaining actually.
Lol cause of my country. Try cause of my town. If you say that your from LA, Hollywood, or Orange County your instantly stereo typed anywhere you go. Me and my 7 freinds are all from that area which is a lot smaller than you would think.
Only by a person who haven't seen me. As soon as I say that I come from Sweden they assume that I have blonde hair and blue eyes most of the time so I guess that's one of the swedish stereotypes. That and loving swedish meatballs (which we do 👌)
Yeah, once. It happened at a beach in Australia. I was about to go back home when an Aussie guy asked me about a nude beach in the vicinity. We had some chit chat and then he asked me where I was from. I said "Brazil" and he told me he knew it already based on my ass.
really don't get me wrong a lot of stuff in the US is super awesome. but with that beer u really failed. I can see ure honestly sorry I accept in in name of my nation. 😁
I haven't tried Bud light, but given that Americans like Corona, I don't think it would be much better. German Beer, or Ale on the other hand is an entirely different delicacy.
@madhatters4 omagerd you're so special and cool because you drink alcohol, you must be proud to come from a culture of drunkards. Also they say that liver disease is a huge epidemic in Europe.
@madhatters4 Maybe the fact that you're bragging about drinking alcohol. Like who tf cares if your beer is "better"? there's nothing special or good about alcohol.
@metalsucks2 "and they wanted me to try bud light how u can drink that omg... " -- I didn't say this
"mmm bud light... haha if i wanted to drink water i'd just drink water. at least water tastes better" - there is nothing bragadocious about this simply stating that i don't like the taste of bud light
deam Iam sorry Bro... America and bud light first!!! I love it. it's terrific. totally great. we Germans are total loosers. please don't bomb us... At least we builded a wall and made the Russians pay for it.
I've been stereotyped for being black, American and from Virginia. Half of it fits the description and I'm okay with that lol. Majority of the time what some considers an insult I consider a compliment.

I'm Japanese/Mexican-American and people have assumed that I'm Chinese. They've even asked me what Buddhism is like.
so whats wrong in it
@ishaikshafi they are incorrectly labeling me. I'm neither Chinese or Buddhist.
are they doing it wantely , if then that is being racist and humiliating you, and younate not supposed to be
Do you ignore them or just say that you aren't either?
just say that you aren't either
I usually correct them.
As an American, I've been stereotyped as being arrogant and stupid. But why should I listen to those inferior, foreign mongrels? America is the greatest state in Europe
well, I don't know. But let's say that there seems to be a stereotype with American's and their geography. I guess in this case it's right!
America is in the west, genius. Europe is a different continent. Which America is not a part of.
I went to school once, and they tried to send me to English class. I told that teachin lady that the only languages I need to speak are American and Sarcasm.
I think he said that on purpose @Stellastarling obviously you don't know a difference.
Go find a better teacher to teach you sarcasm.
gosh how can someone not get it 🙈😀

I've been stereotyped for my last name, and because I'm mixed. I'm not a Spanish speaker, but I can understand some Spanish.
How did you learn Spanish?
I learned through school, but I was taught a bit by family. Some Spanish speakers where I live actually go to school there to learn a bit more Spanish than they already do.

Not that I remember, but please be the first one ;D
Glad to hear what the world thinks of us.
Portugal- can you understand Brazilians? Do you really shop goods from Spain and return home shortly?
xD Not sure if you're moking me, or actually want me to answer lol :D
As a swiss I'm standing for swiss cheese, chocolate, the Matterhorn, cheating banks and Swiss Army Knifes (THX MacGuyver...). But we have so much more... Ahm... *thinking* I just doesn't remember... :D
That's some good shit there!
Cheating banks? Don't you guys have the most stable banks in the world or is that wrong?
These were the good ol' times... Too much money laundering and other affairs... And after 2008 our biggest bank, UBS, just survived with more than $ 3 bn of gouvernment funds. Stable used to be... ;)

I apologize for laughing because I can almost hear the sarcasm in your voice

Everyone thinks I'm a Trumperdumper, so I tell people I'm Canadian
Canadians can also be stereotyped lol but less offensive than what Americans hear

Kindly refrain from entertaining trolls on the Internet.
@Grimfangs
And why exactly am I a troll? Because I practice my right to Free Speech? Am I not allowed to say what I want?
2017 the year when saying something that someone doesn't like = trolling.
@metalsucks2
Use your right to free speech. But take offense when your taste of heaven is somebody else taste of shit.
